Lorell Utility Table Top

This 24x60 Cherry tabletop came in shiny and glossy. It is very solid and I could not bend it noticeably. So, it is a full 60" long, but about 23 3/4" wide, so just watch out if you're needs are for exact dimensions. It is packed decently with extra care to support the corners during shipping. Mine is undamaged, though one box corner was crunched in enough to tear the cardboard. Fast shipping.Pros: Super looking, as seen in my photos. Very well made corners and sides as well. I'd guess this is a photograph of premium cherry laminated onto a solid piece of PVC and then clear-coated. Both top and bottom have a similar, quality finish. Unbelievable for the price.Cons: Heavy and you may need 2 people to do whatever assembly you plan on.Conclusion: Worth it.Personally, I am upgrading an old desk that has good steel legs but the fake wood has begun to flake and develop sharp edges in spots. Rather than buy a new desk, I'll simply replace the old top with this new one. Since it's PVC, I expect I'll have no issues working with it, screwing it together etc. It's really an easy material to work with. Sad news other reviewers have had shipping damage, and the product seems to have better than average packaging, but you know how it goes. I took the chance and received a perfect product.Update: I like this so much, I ordered a second one. This one had a damaged corner from shipping. I started a claim and got a phone call and email within 12 hours. I simply sent them 2 photos, and had a full refund with the next 24 hours. The customer service rep was outstanding. She was very nice and I could tell she takes customer satisfaction extremely seriously. Keeping this at 5 stars, having now bought 2 of these and have experienced the good and the bad sides of purchasing.

My husband wanted a corner sit stand desk of a certain size. When we found that his particular wants didn't actually exist in a pre-made kit, we made the decision to piece it together ourselves with a frame/motors from Monoprice and some desktops. Lorell had the sizes of desktop that he wanted for an affordable price.We weren't expecting the quality of the finish. Far better than we were hoping for! Perfect thickness, easy to level, squared up so they fit together marvelously!What we were left with is a beautiful desk in the perfect size for about $500 total - MUCH cheaper than all those pre-made kits.

Excellent quality, but was too big for what I needed.

I placed this on top of an old glass and metal corner desk and it looks and works like a million bucks. It gave me lots more desk space without taking over the room and fits better in our living room/WFH space than the dorm room special beneath it did. Don't let the 1" width fool you, this thing is solid, dense and sturdy. It's perfectly finished on all sides so if I do thrash the top, I can flip it over and have a new flawless surface. I looked at a ton of comparable items for twice as much and am so glad I went with this one. The finish is more of a satin than a gloss which is nice and my Logitech marathon mouse works beautifully on it. This is a no risk purchase.

Mine came with damage at the edge, very disappointed but my son needed the desk for more space. The quality is good, very sturdy, good for its price. I would just hope that the packaging or delivery would more careful. We’re lucky that it’s out of sight and reach.

Product arrived on time. Very good for standing desk Frame and very strongly built. Only complaint is product damaged at the two edges during shipping. You need a to drill hole with drill bit.

Great value for the money and size. Just like most others that got it there was slight damage on one corner of each of the two I purchased although I just put it face down and in the back and it was fine. Still recommended.

I purchased this for a temporary surface for Fully Jarvis adjustable legs while my desktop was being created. I like it so much, I may turn the desktop I'm having made into a coffee table and just use this one permanently!
