ScubaproDive Beanie

I wasn't sure what to expect as I don't really like swim "caps" as they are tight and annoying to try to put on. I purchased this specifically to "take the edge off" the cold snow melt type lake water I like to swim in when it's hot out. I did just that! It was super easy to put on and take off. It covered my ears, but I still needed earplugs as the beanie, of course, is not waterproof. (yes, your hair will get wet!). It served my purpose. It stayed on (I didn't know if I would want a shin strap or a hole head and neck type gator... but I am glad I chose this beanie rather than the whole baklava. (I think that would have felt a bit too constrictive for me.)

I love a neoprene beanie for cold days on the water, they are usually sized really small or are made by some brand with ugly logos.This one fits me perfectly, is long enough to cover my ears as much as I want it to and has subtle Scubapro logos.Highly recommended!

Really makes a difference in cool/cold water.Good quality, fits good,I'd much rather wear this than a hood, & this really makes the difference between getting chilly, or not.(it extends the use of my wetsuit to lower temps, without having to go to a heavier suit. I wear it with my 3 mil & 5 mil suits).I'll go to a hood below 70-73, but that's just me.I say Get it.

I swim outside in the winter (it's California, so "winter") ... pool is heated but the air temp is mostly in the 50s. This beanie really keeps me warm. I am a female with a smaller head, I got the L/XL size, fits fine, does not come off, goggles don't slide around, but does not feel too tight. I sure wish I had one of these when I swam outside in the Colorado winters ...

material gave me a strange rash and looks nothing like the picture.

This hat is the perfect solution if you need extra warmth but don't like wearing a hood. I always feel like hoods are restricting especially on my throat. I got this hat and wore it on 4 dives in a quarry. It added warmth and comfort without any discomfort. I would highly suggest it. Side note it is great for women because it keeps your hair back out of your face.

I could never wear a hood.. to constricting. This is perfect.. top of your head is where all my heat is lost, especially with a balding head and down at 100ft deep. This keeps he warm perfectly. Does not fall off, is very snug and comfortable. Wore it on all my dives in Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, lake dives near home.. its perfect.

These run a little small. I’m a 7 1/4 hat size needed the l/xl. Has vent holes on top so you can dive with it on...if you wanted to, I won’t. I got it for post dive, so my cloth beanie doesn’t get soaked.
