This product comes in a plain box and has assembly required. This was a gift for my mother who lives in Florida, so I was a little worried. But, she got it put together with no problems. It has an adjustable tray, a cup holder and slides perfectly under the couch. It is everything its advertised to be. Looks a little flimsy in the photos online, but in person it looks sturdy and strong.

I bought them for the price, (cheap) but love their ease of assembly and versatility. I only have an efficiency apt. with no coffee table, and use these regularly. They aren't the strongest, but great for pulling your meal all the way up to you while sitting on the sofa.

Purchased in 2015: Great for laptop with recliners. Durability declines over time with bowing in the center. The ridge around the edge can be difficult for side sockets in laptops. Cup holder hole is small and cup holder insert is shallow.

Lightweight, well made, easy storage. Multiple uses👍

UPDATE: I have noticed recently that since the tray is plastic with relatively no support, mine is starting to droop in the middle. I do not keep enough weight on it that it should be doing this. I do use is to keep paperwork and miscellaneous stuff on, but nothing of any real weight that it should be dipping down. I was really disappointed to notice this.My husband and I often eat and have drinks when watching TV. I also put paperwork next to me to work on while sitting on the couch. We had other tables meant for the couch and they were small and didn't fit well under the couch so that they stuck out too far. We bought these tables and like them pretty well.First I will list the positives. This table has a nice large area and is sturdy enough for my use, but not for heavy items. It slides well under the couch so that it is not in the way. I like that you can adjust the height of the table and it also has an adjustment for how upright you want the table surface in case you want to use it in a more upright position for writing and such, like the position of a drafting table. I don't use it other than in the flat position.The things that are not great. The plastic is not even, a bit warped and not level. There is a ridiculous piece that slides out for a cup holder. I wouldn't dream of putting anything in it as it is SUPER flimsy and would come loose dumping your drink everywhere. You can push it back in and it is hidden under the table so that it isn't sticking out. As a matter of fact, if you don't look under the table, you wouldn't know it was there. This table suits my needs, but it is not a high quality product.

I read a ton of reviews and thought the negative ones were just people complaining. I have several table mate brand trays and figured this would be similar. It was easy enough to put together but it is much more flimsy and most importantly, the top can't be made level. I in tilly thought this was so that when you put stuff on it, it would then lower and become level with weight. That isn't the case. Everything I put on it slides off the back. It is completely useless and garbage. I contacted amazon to return it but I've just missed the return window and they won't take it back. I should have returned it right away instead of thinking I could get it to work. These aren't cheap enough in price for the poor quality. Huge waste of good money for a completely useless product. It was easy to assemble.

I like that it slides under the chair when I’m in it and slides out when I need to get up easily I like the tilt top and the cupholder very much. I do a lot of sitting work so the ability to adjust the tilt of the top saves my back.
