I had to email the company to find out when we chose these diapers; they contain a fluff pulp absorbent core and a bamboo top sheet (the part that touches baby’s skin). We chose these because they are one of the very few diapers that do NOT contain polypropylene or polyethylene (petrochemicals that can release hormone disrupters). Also from Believe diapers website: “Our premium diapers are free from harmful chemicals and additives. There is no use of chlorine, latex, alcohol, PVCs, lotions or phthalates when making a Believe Diaper.”
