Good buy if actually worn
Great for protecting your husband’s head IF HE REMEMBERS TO WEAR IT. It would keep his bald head from getting cut to ribbons IF HE WORE IT. Not the most stylish but who cares if it keeps you from getting slashed up and bleeding right?? You would think so but NO HE ALWAYS “FORGETS” TO WEAR IT. So if YOUR husband hits his head every darn day whilst under a car and you buy this and he ACTUALLY WEARS IT you will be very happy with this purchase. Side note: the practice suture kit my husband bought ME from here is used on the daily and has saved us a ton of urgent care bills.

Someone cared...
This is a beautifully made bump guard. If you need something to keep your scalp intact among rafters or pipes, this is a perfect fit. Not a hard hat, but because of that, you could wear it indefinitely during even the hottest day. I do a lot, but am unbelievably careless about being aware of my (stupid) head for some reason. I look forward to using this for a long time to come.

As heavy or heavier than a ball cap with a liner
The liner is 90% of the weight of this hat. The material of the hat is super light. Brim is just the right length for indoors. There is plenty of venting down the sides and forehead area. But none along the crown. So I suggest you add them. There is closed cell foam along to top too. So if you run into anything you will not have hard plastic bouncing off your skull. My cap size is 7 1/2 this fits right and not too tight. The soft webbing is nice not like snap back ballcap. Worth the 💲

Comfortable safety
Excellent fit. Very comfortable. Light weight but provides excellent safety for most situations. Has saved me from some nasty head knocks.
