This is a BIG knife.The 10" blade and the 5" handle make it too large forsmall spaces, but great for chopping, slicing, and prepping.It is also a beautiful piece of cutlery.I returned the first one I received because the tip was bent.The next one I received was beautiful and very functional.

My jaw dropped when I opened the package and the first time I saw the knife it’s got weight to it more towards the handle and the quality was excellent and the wood and overall the whole knife was so beautiful

This series of knives are definitely first rate,feels good in the hand and is easy to work with.I am really pleased and glad I purchased these knives.I highly recommend this product!

This is a nicely made chef's knife. The handle is a bit thin, but the balance is great and it is easy to get used to. I'm sure the people who rave about how sharp this is have just never owned a sharp knife. I was a meat cutter and produce clerk in my early life and learned how to keep a knife sharp. But, this is very nice steel and it didn't take too much work to get it up to standards. I bought this as a travel knife to take on vacations because AB&B knives are always terrible. I think this will do nicely.

This is the best chef's knife I have ever had. It came out of the box razor sharp. It's an absolutely beautiful piece of hardware, the pictures do not do it enough justice. The weight of the knife is substantial and it feels like a heavy duty tool. It is so balanced when you pinch the tang giving you total comfortable control. I have had several knives at this price point and even owned one much more expensive than this. I am going to replace my current set with this brand, and I believe my endless search for the best knife I can afford is finally over,

My knife arrived previously opened, and it was to be a gift to a friend, so I gave it only 3 stars for "Giftable".In description it lists "weight" as 1 pounds. Knife weighs 8 ounces. My friend has Parkinson's disease, and weighted items help to lower tremors in his hands. I was in hope that this knife weighed a little more, and I know that I'm a limited purchaser for that reason.Besides those 2 issues, the knife is well built, I like the integrated wood in steel handle, and only time will tell as to sharpness lasting and wood in handle holding up to washing.
