How is the ground port grounded? would my appliance be grounded? is this ul listed?

Shame on Amazon for allowing this to be sold! I did call and explain to them the dangerous situation.

Problem 1: The ground connection on the female plug side of the adaptor is open and Not connected to any ground. This results in an open ground receptacle.
You think you have a good, grounded receptacle, but you DO NOT. Again, it is an OPEN GROUND and dangerous to use when the ground is required.
The item is not safety tested by UL, and not UL Listed.

Problem2: The hot and neutral may be reversed!  The 3 similar I purchased and tested are reversed!

IMPORTANT: The lamp socket you screw this item into has NO ground connection, and the item itself has NO ground connection on the male screw end.
Again, immediately return this item and do not use it! Especially if the item you are plugging into this adaptor requires a ground connection.
