I love this book for its knowledge and it’s gift ability

(Deana's Husband) Field and Stream have a line of books that I have bought over the years. The Manuals or Handbooks that they put out are compact full of information AND are visual. They do not ruin the information with a feel to just add ransom content. It is concise, to the point and JAM PACKED with information.I read the book as a refresher for fishing with my kids (Ages 3 & 5) First time out on the water for fishing and landed a NICE large mouth bass. I am going to try for Cat's and stripers.

Son lives in southeast and found this book helpful. Not a comprehensive bible on fishing but useful.

Very practical, comprehensive and visually appealing.

It was in very good condition as advertised. Timely delivery. Also, very good reference book for beginning anglers.

this book is not for the beginner fisherman.the intro talks about a golfer needing a dozen clubs or so to be successful.but, after perusing this book, it seems a fisherman needs dozens and dozens of lures and baits to be successful.depending on the unknowable.oh well.pet peeves: my two favourite fish are perch and smelts.perch is covered somewhat, mainly re: ice fishing.how about fishing perch when the ice is out?smelts? nary a mention.also, the fishing technique called jigging is barely mentioned.well, I guess it is assumed you know all about jigging - ha ha.

I’m extremely impressed with this book! I bought it for my boyfriend who is new to fishing and loves the hobby! It’s extremely useful and helpful with loads of images.
