I recently used Rust-Oleum 265495 LeakSeal Flexible Rubber Coating Spray in Clear, and I'm quite satisfied with its performance. I have a shower that is leaking and plan to remodel next year but in the meanwhile I needed something quick and easy to seal the shower. I already had some  Flex Seal Clear, 14 ounce  so I tried it and while it seems to work on most things pretty well, it does NOT stand up to the chemicals used to clean a tile shower (bleach and mildew products) so I bought a can of this  Rust-Oleum 265495 11-Ounce Leak Seal Flexible Rubber Sealant, Clear  and it worked perfectly and held up MUCH better which would be around 2-3 months before another application was needed.The price is cheaper and the performance was better and the only reason that I did not give it 5 Stars was due to a really strong odor (which the can warns you about) and the fact that the "clear" was actually a bit white. If you are in the market for a product like this I would recommend  Rust-Oleum 265495 11-Ounce Leak Seal Flexible Rubber Sealant, Clear  with the possible caveat that if you need something a bit thicker when applied to prevent runoff the  Flex Seal Clear, 14 ounce  might be a better choice for you since it is a thicker consistency.

I used this product to temporarily plug a few leaks in my old gutters.This product didn't work! It did not seal any leaks. I continued to get leaks when it rained.I decided to tra a second application - and upon opening the cap, the NOZZLE FLIPPED OFF!Very DISAPPOINTED with this product.

This was a great value. Got this on sale for less than half the price of flex seal. Does the job but does have a strong odor until it cures. Recommend only using it in a well ventilated area.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered this item and it came at under $10. Got it the next day. When I opened the box, there was no seal or anything other than the bottle; I don't know if the lids should have a sealed lid, but this did not. I shook the bottle, which you can hear is full and opened the lid. There was NO NOZZLE; I had no way to spray the sealant.I tried to return and it took 3 tries to get to a person; the computer kept telling me that I could not return it.Now I know why this was so cheap; it is defective, used, or both. What a ripoff. I wanted a different brand, but I guess I'll have to find that somewhere else.

As usual, the Amazon.com delivery was faster than the dates stated. Thank you very much! The Rust-Olem spray works really well for the intended purpose. I used it to stop leaks in my rain gutter where the parts fit together. The main concern: make sure you know where you are aiming the spray and understand the spray is wide right out of the can. The instructions say to hold the can 8-18 inches away from the location you want to stop leaking. (I can't imagine a leak this product could stop if you needed to hold the can 18 inches away to cover the area. You would probably be more successful calling a plumber.) If the leak is a small area, as in a gutter leak, I would recommend holding the can more like 3-4 inches from the spot to be sprayed. Otherwise, you may be spraying your house or something else you did not intend to get the black tarry spray on. Clean up can be difficult and stressful. Use short, quick sprays for the best results. Using a good size piece of cardboard as a back drop between the gutter and the house is a good idea (a lot less clean up and a whole lot less stress). Just trash the cardboard when you are done. And, do not forget to hold the can upside down, to clean out the nozzle, when you are finished. This only takes about 2-3 seconds of pressing in on the spray button.

A product that is worth more than the price.

The spray makes it easy to use. The adhesion is excellent. I used it to retain rubber washers in the piping for a 2000 litre water tank. Even under pressure the product holds well and has been without problems for well over a year now. I have also tried the product in replacing the mouth in a tubeless rim for my car. Hold well. Overall excellent product.

I have used a lot of these and they are great for stopping low pressure leaks and seepage.In case of a high pressure leak, this spray can be used along with LeakSeal self fusing silicone tape, to supplement the sealing, till you are able to go for a full repair of the cause for the leakage.(Remember, these are just quick fix solutions and you will need to investigate the cause of the leakage or seepage and get it corrected)These are also able to contain seepage of water from walls and help protect against mold and mildew growth.Do NOTE that, there is a lot of solvent smell, after spraying the coats, so be sure to open all the windows and run your nearest exhaust fans for an hour or two, after the spray job.Also, when finished spraying, be sure to turn the can upside down and continue to spray till only gas comes out, this will help prevent premature clogging of the nozzles.Thanks a lot to Truworth Homes for bringing us these high quality options from Rustoleum. I was never able to find any similar sprayable coating from any other manufacturers(forget, color options), so this is great!
