This is an excellent resource for the exploration and field geologist. It contains clear logical steps in deciphering ore textures at the hand-sample and microscopic level together with plenty of photographs. A very useful book ... highly recommended for any geologist involved in the mineral industry.

If you are involved in any way in hand identification of mineral exploration samples, this is a book to get. The images are excellent. The detailed descriptions are succinct and take into account the limit of what can be done with a hand sample. Provides logical steps to systematically examine ore textures with at most a hand lens. Recommended.

VERY EASY TO UNDERSTAND IN THE GRADUATE LEVEL, GOOD IMAGE PRINTING AND VERY GOOD PRICE, ABSOLUTELY HAPPY WITH THE BOOK. RECOMENDED

This is a good idea, talks about ore formation processes, isn't too high level. But the main thing I bought this for was the pictures and examples, and the quality in this ebook is abysmal. All black and white, bad resolution. I'm sad I paid for this one. Too bad, probably great in real book form.
