how big are these?  i have a hard time swallowing pills.

about the size of a regular aspirin.  Not difficult to swallow.  I have a hard time with large pills, too.  This one is fine.

Absolutely, people definitely leverage our Methylfolate as an alternative to Cerefolin - although Cerefolin also has NAC, B6 and active B12 as well - so if you wanted to hit those important nutrients in addition, you could try our hydroxocobalamin along with it to get the two big actives together (methylfolate and the most well-tolerated active B12).  NAC you can get almost anywhere - Cerefolin contains 600 mg of NAC, but some do better on doses much higher, like 1,800 mg and even up to 3,000 for things like bipolar or schizophrenia (according to Dr. Rawlins).  If you can tolerate it, consider higher doses of NAC (although, be aware, not everyone tolerates it - so listen to your body - and attempt adding only one new product or nutrient at a time, so you can determine what's working for you and what might not be).  We've got a great Non-Methylated Multivitamin which has a bunch of the methylation-supporting nutrients as well as some cognitive nutrients (like Phosphatidylserine and Citicoline - and this has the active B6, P-5-P that Cerefolin contains, though not in the high dose that Cerefolin does - P-5-P is a B6 form that can build up toxically in some people, so we don't sell products with high dose P-5-P or B6 - 25 mg is what's found in Cerefolin, 5 mg is what's found in our products.  Our Non-Methylated Multivitamin does not contain methylfolate or active B12 - so it's perfect for those already taking a high dose methylfolate/active B12 combination).  Be aware that toxic B6 build up results in tight band headaches that will go away when the B6 is stopped - if you're getting these, you may want to reduce your active B6 (P-5-P) intake.  Both magnesium and DHA are hugely helpful for the brain (400-600 mg a day of a highly bioavailable magnesium - we carry a great liposomal-delivery magnesium worth considering) and as much as 1,000-3,000 mg of DHA a day if your brain is needing some real help (doctors find the higher doses have been doing great things with those who have had brain injuries).  For others who are looking for additional brain health nutrients, there is Magnesium L-Threonate (Magtein) which crosses the blood brain barrier and has been written up in the Alzheimer's journal for its significant results in clinical trials.
