Description says "x9 performance large key keyboard", are the keys larger than normal?

The keys themself feel like they are normal size. The whole keyboard itself seems just like a normal sized keyboard. The difference is the font inside the keys, like they are at least 3 times larger than normal. The backlight helps a lot too. Having impaired vision, this keyboard has made my life a lot easier.

How high is the kick stand (raised back) ?

There is a raised portion of the keyboard at the lower back, but it is only 1/2". I also must have the back raised because of a handicap, so in order to overcome that, I go to Lowe's (or any building supply) and buy a pair of rubber domed door bumpers which can be stuck to the bottom rear and add 7/8" to the rear height. I have been using this method for years and it works very well. I also use Perixx lighted keyboards, but the characters on the keys on this one are slightly larger. Perixx is also very good. .
