Great product that just works.
The product was easy to set up and works well. The app connected first time to the system and has been rock solid for the 10days I've been using it. It was easy to install the product in the car to a constant live which I managed to find hidden away inside my car (not near the battery for better security). At the time my car was inside my garage and as a result I thought the system may struggle with GPS signal and/or 4g/5g. But it was rock solid on both despite being in the garage with the garage door closed. It senses when the car is stationary and rapidly goes into sleep mode whereby it only "checks in" every few hours (about 6 - 12hourly seems to be the norm) which saves car battery and data. As soon as the car moves the motion sensor in the system immediately "wakes" it and starts reporting position every 30 - 60 secs. Very impressed and for the price for 5 years you just can't go wrong. Am thinking of buying another for my wife's car.

Great to keep track of all your vehicles - we own 3 of these GPSBob units in our family now
Originally purchased as an addition to the tracker in my new Jaguar (this has its own tracker built in, but if the vehicle is stolen they will only tell the Police where it is) I found it reassuring to have this additional capability with no additional monthly charge. I purchased a second one for our touring caravan which is stored away from home, and this 3rd one was purchased for my sons new car - similar reasons to my Jag. The power consumption is negligible in standby mode (important for the caravan leisure battery) and the installation is super easy just needing a permanent battery connection. You can just install it straight across the battery terminals, or if you use a meter to find a permanent 12v DC live in a fuse box somewhere in the vehicle you can hide it somewhere less obvious. Both cars are used daily (12,000 - 15,000 miles per year) and the supplied data is lasting well at this usage level, with the longest installed unit having used 9% of the supplied data in 7 months and 8,500 miles. The caravan unit has been installed for 5 months and has covered just under 1,700 miles using only 4% according to their App. What I like most about this product is the one off payment with no monthly charges. All three units are tracked on the same account, so it’s easy to log in and see where each of them is, and it also makes tracking and claiming for business mileage really easy using the supplied app. Whilst the basic app only retains a tracking history for one month, it’s easy to download and save this data to my phone and PC for longer term retention.

Worth money.
Very good.

Good tracker but requires an additional subscription for full functionality.
Good tracker easy to fit and register using app, works well but beware some of the functionality requires a further subscription on top of the 5 year data subscription included.

Easy to fit.
Looked at a tracker in a caravan mag but didn't like the price so looked here and saw the same tracker rebranded as GPSBob but a damn site cheaper with the 5yr deal so bought it for the campervan. Just bought a second for our 'new' 21 plate car that doesn't have a factory fitted tracker. Fitting is quick and easy with only a ratchet and socket of the correct size and can be done in 5 minutes. Tracking via app and history is simple once you've played with it a few times.

After 2.5 months used 4% of data, on pace to last the full 5 years they said. Cell phone companies will probably retire the 4g/lte towers before I run out of data. No issues with activation or coverages in the US. No hint of a hidden gotcha fee/subscription cost. I prefer to pay it and be done, not a constant charge on my credit card - exactly how they market it. Basic home free plan subscription works good to see where my teenager has taken my car & any detours along on the way - older days history as well so you don't have to watch real time. I believe there are more detailed subscriptions available but the free plan does what I need. Installation was easy, attach wires to your battery posts, stick it or bolt the tracker where you want it in the engine compartment, then activate with their app. Only suggestion would be an option for longer wire lengths so you can place it more out of the way without having to splice in your own wires losing that clean professional install look. Disappointed to see it is not currently available on Amazon now. Is still available for purchase on their website though.

Thanks for the affordable and very useful device. It does work in Ecuador. Not too complicated for installing but I would rather set it not under the hood but someplace else a little bit more hidden and don't forget a direct voltage

Been using this for over a year with no problems , not sure why the negative reviews. Tracks my vehicle wherever it’s at , even while moving

I was not aware my car could fly over the Atlantic Ocean several times a day until I got my GPS Bob device! I've contacted them several times, online and through the app, and never hear anything back. The app bugs completely ruin things. Also, why can't I natively take screenshots of the app? Instead I had to use a work around. I wonder if they are trying to hide how poor it is? The device itself has leads to connect directly to a battery. What about those of use who want to connect elsewhere? I think it would have been better to include a plug in between the device and the horseshoe leads. That way those of use who want to install elsewhere could simply unplug the leads that come with and plug our own connector in. Be aware that while there is a good amount of data included, that the plan eats through whatever comes first out of time and the data limit. So even if you don't drive much it will still only last 5 years before needing a top-off.
