The helmet got this way July 27. I was riding on the interstate in the right lane, passing an off ramp. There was a truck to my left in the middle lane. He suddenly realized he was going to miss his exit. Without checking his blind spot he cut over and hit me. I was going 70 mph. I came off to the front of the bike in a roll and bounced down the road, eventually coming to rest. I never lost consciousness, the helmet did not crack or otherwise show compromise, just the superficial damage you see.You can read all the reviews you want unless there is one, like mine, showing the outcome, they are useless. The most important aspect of the review is how well did it perform during a crash.This helmet saved my life. It is the only helmet I will buy.Ride well and keep the shiny side up.

Great sizing, easy to use,comfortable awsome design, visor super clean easy to see throught and swicth.

This is my third Scorpion helmet and while I hope I never have to use it....it looks good, is comfortable, and won't break the bank like a Bell, etc.
