My husband ordered a foam clock that fell off the wall whilst we were at work. Unfortunately it fell against the heater, thankfully there was no fire, but the battery pack did melt therefore rendering the clock useless. He bemoaned his clock, sulking about it for days. I eventually felt terrible for him (and wanted to stop hearing about it), as he had only had it for about a week. I bought this. I liked that this product came with options so I ordered it with the intent on trying to fix the clock. Once it arrived, I read the instructions, let him pick out which hands he wanted and got to work. It took me about 20 minutes to figure it out and put it together. He's now happy that his clock is fixed.Bonus: He likes the new hands more than the original!

Easy to assemble and seems to work well. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that it didn't come with any instructions. There was the mechanism, a rubber gasket, a washer, a nut, and the clock hands, but no information about the order for assembly. Luckily I was able to find a YouTube video. FYI, the order is the mechanism, the rubber gasket, the clock face, the washer, the nut, the hour hand, the minute hand, and finally the second hand.

My favorite wall clock died, and I didn't want to throw it away. These parts saved the day -- I was able to find hands that were exactly the right size for my clock.

Good price, quick shipment, was easy to swap out and seems to be keeping time accurately. My clock was a hassle to open but that's no fault of the replacement mechanism.

Nice variety of larger clock hands, easy to install mechanism and hands. Good product overall, but.. packing is insufficient to protect delicate items--flimsy, thin plastic box was crushed and many hands were damaged and needed to be bent and straightened to fit properly. Seller needs to beef up sturdiness of original box, Amazon needs to stop using bubble envelopes, and USPS could be a little more gentle perhaps?

Great for making a clock with the kids, or as a gift if making a unique faceplate, or using unique materials.Proper hand clearance makes all the difference. Be sure to measure correctly! If the hands are bent, it won’t rotate properly. Soft thin metal, so handle them with care when assembling. Several sets of hands in the kit. Also fit the older motor’s original hands.

I am happy with the clock movement components. I had to repair a clock that had stopped working and this was the most economical option. I has only been a couple of weeks, so I can't speak to long term durability, I notice that most of the negative reviews are related to durability, but so far, I have no complaints. The build quality seems good considering the price point. The two different sizes and the multitude of hands provided good options if I wanted to change things up a bit. Although the replacement of the old hands was straight forward and only took 5 minutes. I don't give 5 stars because of the lack of instructions. I don't require instructions, but believe that there was some assembly required, therefore there should at least rudimentary instructions.6/6/2025 - This product worked great initially, however it stopped working after in less than a month. Five or 6 new batteries later, I decide to switch out for the second moment since there were two. The second only worked about 3 hours before the time started to draft. I reset the time and again installed new batteries that are testing a new and still the drafting time continues. As with most inexpensive items from China, there is absolutely no quality control, so you are gambling on whether this product will function as intended.
