the bracelet i received is nice but not what is advertised

the descriptions claims it's a necklace but it is not. It claims to be Ebony but not so, it has some hints of brown like coffee bean and reddish hues. It comes with a beautiful yellow sac of satin/silk plus... Apart from that it is exactly as shown in picture and exactly as I expected it to be. No disappointment there for me. Just wish they offered it in green Jade and or multi-Jade pastel colors. This particular size was hard to find and I love it...

I was planning to use this mala to pray for my late father, and the number of beads of 108 is very important to me. The mala I received has 113 beads, not including the one in the guru bead position although it is the same size as the others, not bigger. The elastic string is also too long. I am disappointed. Now I have to learn how to restring the necklace to make it 108, but I don’t want to lose the knot that is made with the same piece of elastic string at the end.To be fair, I have to say the beads seem not bad although I cannot tell if they are real ebony wood. I like the color of it though. And the knot at the end of the mala is cute.All in all, I feel whoever made the malas focused on quantity but not quality at all, which is not my thing.

I AM SURPRISED... that such a fantastic item as this wasn’t a lot more in cost. This is a well-made, quality mala that is the real thing. The beads are pleasingly large and the wood is quite heavy just as true Ebony should be. I have wrists that are about the size of the average man’s lower leg and it fits/feels GOOD. I’ll treasure this for time to come and already planning to surprise my son with one.

Beware, this item is not eligible for returns. I guess it's nice.. I just really should have read the reviews and details better. The beads I ordered are very tiny (didn't see the picture of the wrist example until just now). It's on an elastic band to may stretch out, and when worn as a necklace (the only reason I purchased) it isn't really very long.

Great looking bracelet

Beads look good, but it's long around the neck. But at the same time this isn't a necklace. It's a bracelet. Even though I bought it to be a necklace.

I have a rosary bought from Egypt the beads are of black ebony wood if I compare that rosary with this one it is completely different from this one in terms of color, texture, and weight. The beads look much larger in the picture than the original size. Rating: 3 out of 5 stars.
