Great Mouse but get the Pro
This is a review of the “Model D Wireless” gaming mouse from Glorious. This review will be split into 6 parts: SHAPE (how comfortable the mouse’s shape is to hold), BUILD QUALITY (how strong the mouse is built), QUALITY-CONTROL (the margin of error between copies of the mouse), CLICKS (how good the buttons feel to press), GLIDE (how fast the mouse can move on your mousepad), and finally WEIGHT (how much the mouse weighs) Starting off we have shape; the shape of the Model D is a large ergonomic shape with side buttons only on the left side. For this reason, this mouse is meant for people who have medium – large hand sizes and are right-handed. If you are left-handed, I strongly recommend not getting this mouse. If you are right-handed, however the mouse shape feels amazing for palm and claw grip. For me I use a claw grip and this mouse is awesome! Next up the build quality and quality control; the build quality of this mouse is mostly good besides for a little side-play on the clicks and some side button wobble. The mouse does last a while (I’ve been using it for 1 year at the time of making this review) and I haven’t had any big build quality issues. The quality control of Glorious mice has always been lousy according to popular mouse reviewers, but after looking around, asking people and watching other reviews, I think the quality control of the mouse is pretty good. Now to review clicks, glide and weight. The Glorious Model D’s clicks are on the heavier side but they are still easy to repeatedly click. The Model D uses an Omron®️ Mechanical Switches Rated For 20 Million Clicks. The glide is *okay* its not super-fast but it’s not too slow either. If you are a fan of faster mouse feet I think you would be better off buying “after market” mouse feet. The Model D’s weight is 70 grams and is pretty light but recently, mice have been getting below 50 grams easily. The weight is still good though! Onto the final question, “Would I recommend this mouse?” and the answer is surprisingly “no.” However, it’s not because the mouse is bad, in fact the mouse is great, but I would not recommend it because Glorious has made a new mouse called the “Model D 2 pro” which is a lighter version of the model D. If you’re thinking about getting a new Glorious mouse I’d just say get the Model D 2 pro.

Glorious Model D WIRELESS
I’m not a mouse expert but I love this thing. It’s lighter than my old $20 wired mouse believe it or not. I have big hands so this mouse feels nice (would still be fine for smaller hands) the scroll wheel is butter smooth with tactile bumps on each scroll. Nice packaging, it comes with usb dongle and even an extra transmitter in case your computer is in another room for example (I don’t use it but it’s really cool for the price if you do actually need it). Also comes with bigger skates if you want to add those on but the stock skates are really smooth and satisfying. The usb c cable that it comes with is really nice soft braided it’s like a shoe string not all stiff like most braided cables so if you are using the mouse while it’s charging the soft cable allows it to move freely and not get caught up on the back edge of your desk or other objects. It did require software download and firmware update (I don’t mind) and the software is really easy an intuitive to use, it even shows you the exact battery percentage in the software. It’s set on default to start the software when your boot up your PC so you might want to turn that option off. 3 profiles to customize so you can have your favorite colors and settings ready to go quickly. It doesn’t have a dedicated slot to store the usb dongle but I don’t mind as long as the connection is quick and seamless which it definitely is. I would highly recommend this mouse, can’t beat it for value.

Perfect light-weight mouse
Super lightweight and responsive mouse. Feels great for gaming, especially for fast movements and aiming. The wireless connection is stable with no noticeable delay, and the battery life is solid. Very comfortable shape, and the clicks feel crisp and satisfying. Great option if you want a lightweight gaming mouse without sacrificing performance.

Just a great quality mouse
Honestly you can’t go wrong with a glorious mouse. I have had the model o in the past and it was perfect. I had to return it becuase it was a little too expensive but I finally got to snag the model D for 32 dollars so I had to get it. It is so clicky and smooth when using it. It really elevated my setup to the next level. Everything is adjustable to it is super easy to use and precise. The appearance wouldn’t be more pleasing too.

Stopped working after 8 months
The mouse is great in almost every aspect, except today, 6/10/24 the mouse sensor stopped working, no movement, buttons still work normally. Nothing I've done seems to remedy the issue. Edit: Glorious support has honorrd their warranty which is 2 years. changing my review because the experience was painless and took less than an hour

Comfortable, accurate, and great value ergonomic mouse
The Glorious Model D Wireless is a great gaming mouse with very high DPI settings and excellent accuracy, making it reliable for competitive gaming. Performance is smooth and responsive, and the wireless connectivity is stable. The ergonomic shape feels very good in hand, especially for right-handed users. It’s comfortable for long sessions and provides good control. However, it’s not suitable for left-handed users due to the shape. Overall, the build quality is high, performance is excellent, and it offers very good value for money. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a comfortable, right-handed ergonomic wireless mouse.

Super light and very responsive
This mouse is incredible. It’s so light that it feels like an extension of my hand, and the wireless connection is flawless with zero lag. The battery life easily lasts me through a week of heavy gaming, and the RGB lighting looks great without being too much. The ergo shape is very comfortable for long sessions. Definitely a top-tier choice!

SCAMMED? VERY DISAPOINTED! (Worse than Model O?)
I don't know whether this was a mistake on Glorious or Amazon's end but I believe I was sent out a mouse that was already used/returned. Upon opening the box I noticed that the bag that contained "extra mouse feet" was empty. After looking at the bottom of my mouse I realized that someone had put on the extra mouse feet that I didn't want. On top of that, whoever put them on did an awful job. I decided to take them off since it was negatively affecting the glide but realized that the glide wasn't that good even after taking off the extra feet. I own a wired Glorious Model O and while the build quality wasn't on logitech level, it was a really good mouse and the glide was smooth. Now with the Model D wireless that I received, its almost like gliding against paper. (and yes the feet film was already removed when I got the mouse). For those who are debating whether to get the Model O or the Model D I would say it depends on how you hold your mouse. I use a palm grip since I butterfly click and it feels great for either. I prefer the Model D shape since it fits in the right hand perfectly. If you claw grip, the sides of the mouse are wider than on the Model O but its also a lot taller. Battery life is decent but if you are forgetful like me, then keep the cable ready just incase. If you have smaller hands, go for the minus option but if you have medium to larger hands, stick to this one. I'll see if I can get this replaced or returned. Great shape. Okay battery life. Good software. Terrible glide (could only be in my case though since I got a used mouse even though I bought the new one). Overall, if you aren't looking to adjust the debounce time then there are a lot of other mice to consider first, especially if things like this happen. But if you happen to be specifically a Minecraft player who wants a mouse to double click, then this is one of the few options you have left and it does the job for any clicking style or grip.
