Activated Recorder with Variable Speed Playback,Sound Recorder Built in Ultra-Sensitive Microphones and MP3 Player

We live by a lot of parks and often take the kids and the dog (a 3 y/o 85lb labradoodle for reference) for outings. They have move night in the park in the summers and you have to bring your own blankets etc but most blankets aren't ever large enough for a big family. This thing is! Here's what I really like about it:-PORTABILITY: This is one of the most important features of such a thing to me. Honestly, one of my greatest fears when it arrived was that I would never be able to stuff it back into it's awesome little pouch after using it (picturing myself as a 12 year old at girls camp trying in vain to stuff my sleeping bag back in its sack), but I was wrong! It was SO EASY (see picture proof)! It's little pouch is awesome. Not only does it have a very secure drawstring but it also has a buckle strap that clips over the top to keep it nice and compact. I have found this strap to be invaluable for toting it around! I love that I can clip it to my bike to take on outings and it's small enough that it doesn't get in the way. It's also small enough to squeeze into an overhead suitcase for a trip, a purse or tote or even in the glove box of your car! The other great thing is the pouch it comes in is ATTACHED to the blanket itself so you don't ever have to worry about losing it or it blowing away! That was a brilliant idea.- SAND IMPERMEABLE: This is a big deal for beach goers who want to lay out and enjoy the softness of the sand without having it get all up in ya' business and having to take it home with you whether you like it or not. There are few things I despise more than a bathing suit bottom filled with sand. This fabric will keep the sand under you and is SO easy to shake out and dust off afterward!- QUICK DRYING: This is a GREAT feature for the beach (better than laying your wet self on a towel that takes forever to dry). Same goes for a picnic or watching a soccer game on wet grass or getting caught in the rain. It dries fast, you can stuff it back in its sack and go!- SIZE: This is definitely adequate for a small family to sit on together or 3 adult people to lay on at the same time. See picture of my big dog laying on it for reference.- WEIGHT POUCHES: This is SO light weight that it WILL blow away in the slightest breeze if not properly secured. To me this is a bit of a con (see further down) but they clearly planned for that and added 6 handy pouches to the ends in which you can put rocks, handfuls of sand or whatever else you have to help keep it down and secure.What I don't like so much:- WRINKLE CITY: The first time I took it out of the pouch I noticed just how terribly wrinkled it was (and probably will always be). This doesn't get in the way of its functionality at all, but just be aware that it doesn't come out of the pouch looking all smooth and flat like it does in the pictures (see my pictures).- THIN: The really thin fabric is both a pro and a con. It's a pro in that it makes it very light weight and easy to travel around with, easy to shake out and stuff back in its small sack and very quick to dry if it gets wet. The downside is that it doesn't make for the most comfortable experience on the ground if you're using it anywhere but beach sand. Even dry, brittle grass will feel poky under this fabric. Mind you, it doesn't penetrate the fabric itself, but you can feel every single little bump, rock, twig, pine cone and hole beneath you. I laid this over a patch of dead grass in our back yard to test it out and indeed it felt a little prickly under my arms and legs.- FLIGHT RISK: As mentioned before, this thing is SO LIGHT and is basically a giant parachute, so if there is any wind, heaven help you in trying to lay it down or keep it down. I'm talking even a slight breeze. If you want to use this, you pretty much need to plan on having something with you to weigh down the ends. Yes, you can use your keys, your phone and other stuff you might have, but that's not the best thing in my opinion. It doesn't come with stakes or weights designed for the weight pouches and if it did, that would take away from the portability a great deal.- STATIC: This thing by nature of the fabric it's made from generates and stores a lot of static electricity, so if you lay it on dead grass for example (like I did) and go to shake it out and dust it off afterward, dead grass will cling to it with a vengeance. This is also not the best thing for people like me who have long, straight, thin hair that already suffers from static buildup.In short, I think this is nearly perfect for trips to the beach. However, for picnics, movies in the park, soccer games, concerts on the lawn, I still prefer something with a little more cushion/protection from uneven and uncomfortable ground. Hope this helps!

The picture is extremely deceiving in my opinion. I was expecting a little more rigidness in the fabric than what I received. Then again, having fit in the small bag I assume that is not possible. Next time I'll be sure to look more at the fine details. Regardless I plan to keep it because has been useful. I've used it without sand thus far in the pockets, so with sand it will stay better. I used it mostly at the park so far. Covers the ground nicely, then I put my chair on it to keep it still. Recommend, so long as you read the details of the fabric first.

Awesome. Honestly much better than I expected. Material is heavier weight than some other options. Well made and a great price. (Note: This is “parachute” style material SO ideally sand DOES NOT PASS through when it is working correctly. This blanket does not pass sand. It works!)

Quick drying but the sand does not fall thru the holes, you have to help it. The color is hot in the sun. Otherwise the weight corners work well. Could use some side pockets to weigh it down as well.

Loved using this at the beach....and also easy to use for baseball games!

Love how portable this is, and how sleek the material is so it is easy to wipe down, sand falls right off, etc. I am about to embark on washing it for the first time, so fingers crossed it holds up well. So far I love it!
