Very nice but super long spout!
We had an older Kohler faucet in our tub and wanted to change to black. We had to order a special valve kit and we also had to solder an extension on the copper pipe for the spout. Not sure why it sticks out so far? It was not easy converting it but it looks very nice.

Looked nice
Quality was fine. Returned because it was not compatible with my 304 valve. I took a chance because another article suggested that Kohler trim kits that fit the 8304 will also fit the discontinued 304. Not correct.

Shows awful water spots
Shows awful water spots, never looks clean. I went with brushed, as all my other brushed kolher looks great and doesn’t show water spots. The faucet does sit right on the wall so we had to use too much silicon to keep it in places.

Nice trim kit but some QA flaws
UPDATE: was able to exchange and everything looks good. Must be an isolated case.Upon arrival the escutcheon for the shower head has a pinched side and the foam gasket on the inside of the handle escutcheon is too short. Less than ideal but can make it work. Looks like it would function properly once installed which is most important.

Not compatible with all kohler
First off the tub spout is 5 inches long so it is not compatible with anything standard and requires rough in. Second the value handle is not compatible with all kohler - I didn’t know this. And third the trim plate is plastic garbage.

Half of it was missing.
2 pieces of the trim kit were missing. Installed the valve and lower faucet before I realized it. Was missing the valve adapter and upper shower faucet
