Are these real Levi’s?

YES! I went through extensive lengths and research to prove these are real after the other reviews made me paranoid. I even checked them against the same pair sold from the Levi’s outlet. The reviews throw around a LOT of red herrings. Definitely check your own jeans, but I’m certain these are real and this is why:
- The rivets are stamped with the right markings in the front, and the backs of the buttons are stamped with the run number that matches against the inner care tags. 
- One review lists some issues, comparing them to Levi’s Premium Wedgie Straights. Wedgie *Skinnies are NOT a premium style, so they won’t have the “Levi’s Premium”  waist tag, nor a real leather patch (instead it is jacron paper), nor the certificate of authority stamped on the inside of the pockets. Again, I checked this all against a pair from the official Levis’s outlet and it all matches up. 
- Some reviews list only the “R” trademark on the red tag as a sign of counterfeit, but their fb page mentions that one in every ten red tabs are like this & their help page mentions that “This shows that LS&Co. owns trademark rights in the Tab itself, not just the Levi’s® wording trademark.” It is even prized among vintage collectors to find such a pair.
- Some reviews mention the fabric feels “thinner” or “cheaper” than their other levi’s - keep in mind these jeans are 98% cotton/2% elastane, and shouldn’t be compared to stiff 100% cotton jeans. Anecdotally I tried them on and the material feels the same as the outlet pair.
I learned a shit ton about Levi’s trying to figure out if they’re counterfeit, so I hope all this efforts helps someone else out. They are definitely real Levi’s, just not a premium style.

It’s more flattering. It does go up a little like a wedgie but nothing uncomfortable.
