The Perfect Keyboard
Amazing keyboard for its many features as described in its advertisement. Requires no set up - playable right out of the box. Requires minimum space and is easily portable. The keys depress easily and smoothly. I see no limits to creativity and accomplishment with this keyboard. It is a Joy to play.

All the Bells and Whistles
Good sound- many voices- (quite a few are just sound effects). A bit of a learning curve- but it has alot of built in mixes and tracks to make a one person band. The keybed is not professional but works fine -with great attack and sustain. It tries to do things for you- but you can alter their presets. I would buy again - good -for the price.

Fine Keyboard For The Price
I used to own an older model from this same Yamaha keyboard series. I had to trade it back to Circuit City so I could attend grad school, but when the opportunity came to buy a new one years later, this was the one I picked out. It's not a pro model like the ones my rock and jazz heroes use, but it suits my talent level and my technology skills. If I have a gripe, it's that the drum programs do not have enough Western style rhythms. I get that the company wants to sell globally, but I have little use for 2/3 of the presets. But it's loaded with sound patches (though some are primitive) and it has pitch bend and articulation. While a modulation wheel might be nice, there are rotating knobs to duplicate this feature. All in all, it's a great instrument for the beginner or for the semi-pro just getting back into the groove!

Look no further this is the best
When in doubt, buy the Yamaha product. I'm retired and have lived by that all my life. This 61 key Yamaha is outstanding. It has all the features you could imagine and works perfectly with piano marvel - and I mean perfectly. Most of all you can change an octave instantly which enables play of essentially all 88 keys. Now that is amazing!!! Yes it's that good. Great job Yamaha engineers on this one. Thank you.

excellent for the money.
This is a great one. I bought the 61 key because I thought I needed the room but now I wish I had bought the 76 key. Anyway. This is a good keyboard for the money. You can do so much with it. I have an MODX 7 + that cost 3 times this. If you are shopping I recommend this one over the MODX. You can still connect external speakers of you need to or an amp. You can connect a mic.
