Honeywell vs Halo Life Mask vs Outdoor Research Essential..
Comfortable, seals well and the disposable filters are effective. Further and unlike lesser masks, Honeywell publishes the specs of the disposable filters in their website. Per Honeywell: "97% of 3-micron-sized non-viable particles and 0.1-micron-sized aerosolized particles".While the Honeywell mask won't replace an '95' medical grade mask from trustworthy companies such as 3M, it comes close and is leaps and bounds more effective than most other non-medical, every-day covid masks. More cost effective than medical grade masks too.Airflow with the Honeywell is very good compared to most other masks I've used, especially layered cotton masks. The design of the mask keeps the mask away from mouth and nostrils even when breathing heavily. All of the cotton masks I've used collapse fairly easily. This results in the masks being sucked into mouth and nostrils.I also have a Halo Life Face Mask and Outdoor Research Essential mask. Both are definitely a step above other masks I've used but have significant failings that keep them from being as good as the Honeywell mask. The Halo filters are fragile and difficult to replace in the interior pocket without the filter bunching and/or tearing. I found the Halo mask too clingy as well. While Honeywell and Outdoor Research reasonably advertise that their replaceable filters should be replaced daily, Halo advertises that their disposable filters have a 200 hour life. Perhaps they do without a human breathing through them and in a laboratory environment for dry particulate matter like dust. To state that they are safe to breath through for 200 hours (8+ days, 24/7) stretches the bounds of credibility. Halo will have to provide more data for the 200 hour claim to be understood. The Outdoor Research Essential mask is likewise a step above most masks I've used, seals well and is comfortable. Airflow is good, it doesn't get sucked into nostrils or the mouth. My only annoyance is the disposable filter. It tends to bunch/shift when removing the mask which results in regularly having to re-align the filter in the mask before putting it back on.Unlike the Honeywell mask, the Outdoor Research disposable filters slide into loose pockets vs the tightly fitting, elastic and durable straps of the Honeywell.By comparison, the Honeywell filter does not have to be carefully and tediously inserted or maintained. The disposable filter has two 'ears' that are easily tucked into each side of the mask and stays in place all day . The straps that hold the filter in place are marked left and right as are the filters. The Honeywell filter marking is hard to see so care will have to be taken to insert the right and left ears into the right and left mask straps. The straps securely retain the filter and keep it from moving around as much as the Outdoor Research mask. The final selling point for me is that Honeywell is an American company (now owned by Allied Signal) with a long history of engineering filtration, respiration and other safety products. I don't know where the country of origin is for the filters but if not in the US, they are almost certainly manufactured with heavy oversight and quality control from Honeywell. In addition, each mask filter is individually sealed in a protective wrapper. My only gripe and barely worth mentioning is the seam on one of the three I own has started to unravel slightly. It's barely noticeable and doesn't affect form, fit or function. My other two Honeywell masks are still in like-new condition and all have been machine washed many times. Machine washing hasn't resulted in noticeable shrinkage or observable wear. I wash in warm water, gentle cycle and without anything else in the washer. I wash them alone to protect them from abrasive wear from things like jeans. Air drying is the best option not only for shrinkage protection but also for potential tumble wear. They air dry very quickly. These are durable, well designed masks and likely to last indefinitely. After the covid situation settles down (if it does) I will continue using this mask for non-covid activities like sanding and dusty yard work. I used to use more expensive 3M N95's for these things but the Honeywell mask is more cost effective and protects almost as well. The Honeywell mask is best of breed in my somewhat limited experience. If you do not have access to high quality and disposable '95' masks from trustworthy companies, this is a very solid alternative. Very satisfied and repeat customer. Nice work Honeywell.

The Best Mask in Two Years!
This is the best and most medically appropriate mask I have had since the pandemic started. The filters fit perfectly. The mask fits very well. One thing I don’t like is it is a bit difficult to wear with glasses. And fogging is a problem. But I take glasses off and can see my laptop well. Compromised. I plan on buying another one.

Very Comfortable (for a mask); Roomy; High Quality.
I needed a mask that provides extra room for public speaking and singing, and was N95 quality with replaceable inserts. This mask fit the bill. It's more comfortable that any other of the dozens I've tried over the years. Granted, it's still a "face mask" and I'd prefer to NOT wear any mask but....well, you know what I mean. The replaceable inserts are great as they provide a fresh clean sanitary liner.

My Favorite Mask for Air Travel
Ordered this mask with the included filters prior to our 3-week family travel including air travel. I am concerned about getting in an airplane with the current illness going through another surge so I wanted a mask that would protect me.Wore this mask for 4-hours at a time on 2 long flights as well as various indoor venues (shopping, restaurants, etc.). On the airline flights, I almost forgot I had it on.I really like the fit and the ease of inserting the paper filter. The mask is easily cleaned and the paper filter is disposable, both features I like.I spent more money on this mask than I have with other masks but I am happy I have it. It was almost 1/2 the cost of the similar Halo Life mask I purchased with the filter that is almost impossible to properly insert.Size: These run large and I ordered the "M/L" which fit quite well. I usually order large size masks.Filter: I purchased another similar mask from Halo Life with a disposable filter but it was very difficult, if not impossible to insert a new paper filter properly. This mask from Honeywell uses an easier system to insert new paper filters-well done! You can easily and quickly replace the filter on the fly instead of "playing" with the mask and filter on the other brand.Bottom Line: A great mask for indoor uses and travel.

Much more comfortable than a disposable N95
During the youknowwhat I got tired of wearing disposable mask as I never found them to be comfortable enough to tolerate. Even though you have to spend a little extra I found these masks to be a better alternative. The mask is much more comfortable on the face, especially when wearing for longer time periods. The replaceable filters are good quality though and are definitely more effective than a disposable surgical mask, and probably even pretty close to an N95.If you're still on the mask wearing team I'd recommend these if you're willing to spend the premium for more comfort.

Probably works?
Didn't have a chance to use, questionable fit, restrictions lowered so didn't get a chance to use. Holding onto it for 'just in case' situation.

Comfortable mask for general protection
I really like this mask and the added protection it provides over either just a cloth mask or a disposable surgical mask. Keep in mind this is not an N95 or even KN95, but it is better some of the other options. The mask provides good coverage and a comfortable fit.

too big for medium woman
Since there is no Small available I tried this M/L mask. It is much too big for me, not sealing well and sliding up into my eyes. I washed it and dried it in the dryer hoping to shrink it but it's still huge on me. I expect it will be very comfortable if you are a large man. It seems to be well made and the filters provided fit fine. The XS version I have is easy to breath through, and seals well.

Comodisimo!!!

Not tested against covid! Do not buy!!
- being American, they seem to have supersized the mask, so it was far too big for my average-size face. Fit fine over the nose, but left a huge gaping hole at my chin. No point in wearing a mask that doesn't fit well all around.- don't bother getting this if you don't want to keep forking out money to buy the custom made filters...expensive, and it has been designed so as to not work with any other filters available on the market.- Chinese and Vietnamese made, despite it saying "American", so, don't be fooled like I was by the gimmick marketing- without the filter inside the mask, it has holes that let in all the air particles (you might as well just not be wearing a mask).- Do not buy this mask if you want to protect yourself against covid, it is NOT effective at all. And says so on the package that it has not been tested for covid!!- an absolute scam. Waste of money, and obviously can't return. This mask went (along with my $80) in the bin.
