I was planning on using this to put designs on clothing. I was wondering does it bleed when being washed and will the color fade?

Authentic DMC like this package 's threads are colorfast , I suggest to wash the clothing with the cold water and if you are still worried There are things called dye catchers/color catchers you can add to the wash water , They're usually in the laundry aisle.
