3M Medipore H Soft Cloth Surgical Tape - 4" wide by 10 yards (3 Rolls)

2 years ago, right before Christmas I had an accident while putting up decorations. A cinder block fell on my shin and cut it so badly that I had to go to hospital, Then I had to come for weeks to get it closed, This tape was the one they used , Main feature is that it will form to any shape and stay put, You can use it on fingers and toes, or the back of your hand, AND still stay closed, I gave a roll to my daughter to use on the kids and it's great for cuts or scratches. You cut it to size, You can help pull the cut together. I keep one in my medicine cabinet, It's great for a chapped finger that's cracked open, Just wrap it around.

It takes a little getting used to, but this stuff is a MUST HAVE if you have kids, or just to have in general. The number of times I've used it with gauze to make my own bandages, or used it to cover an existing bandage seem uncountable to me.They stay on....are porous.....and are designed to rip into 4"x2" strips _if you want_. Very sticky.Will buy again....and wouldn't change a thing about this design. Only suggestion: Store in Ziploc bags to keep clean AND to preserve the adhesive.Takes a little getting used to, but using this will make you a pro in no time.

This is excellent tapes but to get the best use out of it you must exercise some precautions. First, be careful how you separate the tape from the roll. When you tare it at the perforations it will have a tendency to fold back on itself and when that happens it is almost impossible to separate the tape from itself. Also, this tape has the tendency to leave adhesive residue on the skin. This can be rubbed off but if you have sensitive skin there are some products that can remove the adhesive. Third, sometimes this tape sticks too well and can be somewhat difficult to remove. I use unisolve packets (available on Amazon) for this and it prevents the skin damage that often occurs from tape removal over a few weeks time. Otherwise I highly recommend this tape as it has the best features of adhesion and gentleness out there and once you get used to it it becomes easy to use. Finally, the tape is very accommodating in that it comes in several widths so is adaptable for both large and small bandage applications.

I used these after my husband surgery - they work great just a little sticky. I do recommend these for large areas needing coverage.
