I’m have been wanting to give this resin craft ago for sometime, I had a IV resin kit for Christmas and really enjoyed it, but the IV resin has such short working time so I searched high and low to give the expiry resin a go and so I ordered Teexpert solely on the idea it’s did have any odour and wanted an all in 1 kit I could just give it a go oh and forgot to mention the 1:1 ratio seemed to me a sensible approach rather than some of the other brands where it was 2:1 and working out how much you finally ended up with. So I have shared in the pictures my first ever coasters made from the Teexpert beginners kit, as I said I’m a beginner at this craft and it was so easy, and so interesting to see the patterns forming, and when you go back 12 hours later it’s a surprise to see and then you have to decide what side you like best which is why I posted the both sides of my coasters. The best part about Teexpert’s resin is there is no smell, that’s definitely a Huge huge plus, the resin mixes well, very little bubbling once poured , hey but if you have a hair dryer then it’s really not difficult to end up with a bubble free finish. The resin working time is just right and you don’t need to rush. The beginners kit has everything you need to get started, I previously purchased the Teexpert) mica powders so I already had many colours to choose from (highly recommend and very reasonably priced), but tried to stick with what’s in box, although did add some of the mica black, ruby and copper powder to one coaster and I already had an enamel paint pen to put around the side of the coasters. So the kit comes with enough to make 1 of each of the coasters, I didn’t make the geocoaster because when I started I really liked the mini chopping board coaster so opted to make 2 of them instead. I found if you mix some of the fluid colour with the mica powder gave a wonderful intense colour. The resin is really crystal clear when set not dull at all. Love how clear and low smell this product has and all the little extras I received in this order . Definitely will recommend and buy it again.

The kit is the perfect set for an introduction to using resin. It comes complete with 3 molds the resin liquids are 8oz bottles, a few 6 pigment colors, a generous size jar of gold flakes and a few plastic squeeze droppers. It also had the measuring cups, popsicle sticks for mixing and of course instructions. As a crafter there are quite a few crafting items I create that I wanted to have shiny finish. However, I’ve been concerned about the fumes. Hopefully, this resin doesn’t have a strong smell - there are mixed reviews about the smell. Hopefully the odor will be no stronger then using spray paint. I’ll update my review once I’ve used the product.

In dem Starterset sind alle Materialien dabei die man benötigt und mehr. Die Handhabung ist sehr leicht. Ich habe damit Heiltränke für Dungeons und Dragons gebastelt. Hat sehr gut geklappt. Bei der Farbe reichen schon wenige Tropfen aus, um ein intensives Ergebnis zu erhalten. Das Aushärten dauerte ca. 24h, wie auch in der Anleitung beschrieben.
