Q: Do they stir thick batters well, or are the tips fairly flexible and too weak for thick stirring? (Like a dense cookie dough,etc)

There's a metal spine on the inside that goes about 1/3 the way into each spatula head. They will stir fairly thick batters and still be flexible enough for the blade to clean the bowl. For really stiff dough like cookie dough, I would use a wooden spoon,
