I was skeptical of this product but also balked at spending hundreds just for a cracked lens. My lens was so cracked that a hole began to develop. This actually made removing it a little easier. I was wearing eyeglasses and thought this was sufficient protection but NOPE, I wished I had worn goggles. They emphasize protecting your eyes from flying glass shards and I should've heeded the warning. A shard literally flew into one of my eyes. Mercifully, the shard was dull and didn't cause injury.Removing all the glass and glue residue was the toughest part. Sticking the new lens on was easy peasy. The kit comes with everything you need except protective goggles. WEAR THEM. Use a scuba mask or swim goggles if that's all you have. I also did this outside so I didn't have glass shards in my house. I suggest you carefully read the directions and watch a couple of Youtube videos before doing this. But it is totally doable. Now my iPhone has a new lease on life and it only cost a few bucks.

If you don’t have a heat gun, the remaining broken glass will not come off simply with the tools provided. Once you do the hard part of getting the broken glass off, the rest is easy.

Used the included knife, rubbing alcohol, and q-tips to clean the glue reside out completely before inserting the new lens. The people who gave bad reviews probably just didn’t install it correctly.

False advertising! Doesn’t fit my iPhone 13 so I can’t take photos at the big party I’m throwing today which REALLY SUCKS!

This comes with a nice little repair kit along with the new glasses. I broke the wide-angle camera's glass, so I only needed that one.I watched a few videos on YouTube to get an idea of what was involved. Fortunately, I have a rework hot air gun and a compound stereo microscope. I was very cautious with the heat. I picked out all the glass bits eventually, despite a stubborn bit on one side. When you pry the glass, just do it so if the tool slips it always slips away from the camera lens.Someone else mentioned using a 2mm jeweler's screwdriver to scrape off the glue. This worked very well for me, as well.Once it was nice and cleaned up of all glue, the new glass went in easily. It's hard to know how well the adhesive will hold up, but it seems reasonably tacky.The camera works just fine now. Saved me a lot of money.

It is great product for what u need.

Lens is smaller than original. It will have to do cause I aint buying another set just to get the same. Iphone 13. You can tell which one was replaced.
