Great color match!

This sanded grout matches almost perfectly and was really easy to work with. You can’t even tell it’s caulking. I caulked along backsplash where it meets the tile because of cracking in the grout. Once I removed some of the grout I was able to make smooth lines that flex now. No more cracked grout line behind the kitchen sink! Once you apply it don’t try to rework or rub it too much when cleaning or you will wipe away the sand from the silicone caulking. Highly recommended.

When our bathroom was remodeled in 2017 the tile was not laid well in one section and was loose and thus the grout had been coming out from around it for years. We finally found someone to pull up the tile and re-caulk but it was hard to find the color locally. I was happy to find the match on Amazon and I was told to use the caulk grout in the tube instead of the normal grout because it needed to be more malleable in case it was the floor moving that made the tile pull up. My friend who did it the grout with this tube never had experience with this particular type of grout but said that it worked very well. We’re pleased enough with the finished product. I’m happy on two counts… 1) that the color was quite close to what I already had and 2) that my tiles are reconnected solidly.

Easy to use

Like most of Mapei's products, this caulk is very good. I have used Mapei before , have always been pleased with the quality. In this case, the caulk was bought to finish a bathroom project. It matched exactly (color and texture) the grout and caulk purchased from a different source and used for most of the project. The new caulk was used to finish up when I ran out of the first tube. Applied right next to the first tube caulk to finish a very visible edge, you cannot tell any difference. Mapei's color consistency is excellent.

It’s hard to find sanded caulking anymore, but it’s a product I use often when helping my real estate clients get their homes ready to sell. It’s much easier than re-grouting, and blends well. Highly recommend.

The color was perfect, but the caulk was dried out and unusable. It came out in chunks and could not be spread smoothly. I have used this exact type of caulk before with no issues (not dried out and easy to use) but this tube I received was not usable and a waste of money. I did not open the sealed tube until after the return window closed. I saw other reviews saying the same thing but I took a chance and it was a mistake.

I didn’t like the cost. So expensive. Also had to wait for over 2 weeks for it to arrive & it was damaged.
