We had a leak in our basement that caused some major problems - carpet and padding had to be air dried more than once and then eventually be removed. It was a slow drip from where the water pipe comes into the house; so the leak was not the pipe but the water coming in from the outside. My husband and I had a make-sift item to catch the dripping water; it was not pretty but worked; unless of course you live in Ellicott City, MD and you have 2 major floods in 2 years. So we had a plumber give us an estimate $5000! To dig, repair and replace. So my husband got online and watched videos using this product. And so far it has worked great! Easy Too! Not only a major savings but a relief that we can leave our house and not worry about the basement flooding!

Very good for what I had to do

I needed something that was a strong adhesive that also served as caulk. A contractor who put in a tub surround was cheap and didn't put enough adhesive behind the surround, so it kept moving where it meets the tub and would ruin traditional caulk. This product holds everything and looks great

It does tend to come out rather quickly which makes it hard to deal with the excess. But it dries relatively quickly. There is an intense chemical smell till it dries so be sure to open windows while doing it.

Much better to use in areas that will get wet. Most other products don't seal as well. I am not happy, however, about the fact that once it is used the first time, the sealant clogs the applicator tip and really cannot be just pulled out as the instructions say. I had a can that I used for only about 10% and then had to throw the rest away because I couldn't get the dried sealant out of the tip. They need a better system.
