the OST ebbs and flows, and overall I think it ultimately lands the delivery. it is sometimes difficult for me to like musical work that is more than 90 minutes long, but how this OST is divided, and whatever tracks are in those three parts makes sense if you play the game, but if you haven't played the game you can still sense the direction. everyone is bound to have favorites, but great music in my opinion are works that, whenever you keep revisiting it, you fall in love with tracks that you haven't bothered to pay attention to, and I think this is why this OST is not just one of my favorite pieces of OST, but one of my favorite pieces of music.

This is the best video game OST of all time, topping out my previous favorite Chrono Cross. Aside from not having the robotic adlib versions of Birth of a Wish and the other tracks on this one (I know they are on other official releases) this one is fantastic. I wound up purchasing this before purchasing the game and I got to say that this soundtrack is better than the game. Not knocking on the game whatsoever, because it is wonderful, it is just that for sheer entertainment, this music is a universe of it's own. Utterly phenomenal from the vocalists and every composition. There are many exciting tracks and it took months to really boil down my #1 favorite track but it has got to be Emil (Despair) tied with The Tower. Shoutouts to Dark Colossus and Wretched Weaponry and Amusement Park when it's on full blast.

Let me start off by saying that this is the best video game soundtrack I have ever heard! I bought this soundtrack because it's one of the best features from the game and I needed to have it. I ordered the album about a week ago with 2 day shipping. The album didn't come in until 5 days after I placed the order. That was a minor bummer, but when it did come in, I was upset to see a big crack down the middle of the case. Luckily when I called customer support as soon as I saw the damage, they helped me out big time by replacing it and over night shipping it to me. I just received the replacement and everything is ok with it, which is why I still give it 5 stars. I highly recommend buying this master piece of a soundtrack.

The best game soundtrack in years - no surprise, honestly. Yoko Taro/Cavia Games' Drakengard/NieR series has its fair share of technically flawed games with a unique storytelling approach, but always distinctive and quality music. NieR: Automata continues the trend of excellent music and engrossing story, but with a PlatinumGames gameplay polish. This isn't a game review though, but rather a music one.Tracks in NieR: Automata range from melancholy to thunderous, excellently matched to their in-game sections with multiple variants - this OST blends multiple variants into a single track. It's telling that over a year after completing NieR: Automata, one of these songs can come up in my shuffle and evokes a memory of the game.

Boyfriend is a huge fan of Nier and loves the OST. Was very happy to receive these as a gift!

NieR:Automata is my favourite video game and the award winning score by Keiichi Okabe is so wonderful and I listen to it often (probably too often). From the dreamlike ambience of 'Fortress Of Lies' and 'City Ruins - Rays Of Light', to the epic bombast of 'Dark Colossus - Kaiju' and 'Bipolar Nightmare', the score features of range of tones and emotions across its soundscape, that evoke the sombre, melancholic world of NieR:Automata. It is one of my favourite soundtracks across all media and is thoroughly recommended.The pack includes x46 tracks across x3 discs, including x4 versions of 'Weight Of The World' (English/Japanese/Nouveau-French and 'The End of YoRHa versions). The CD casing, insert booklet and discs all arrived in top condition.

Keiichi Okabe, gran compositor con extremo talento. No le voy a perder de vista en todo lo que haga.10/10 !!

Avendo potuto apprezzare le splendide musiche all'interno del videogioco, non ho potuto fare a meno di acquistare anche i ben tre CD della colonna sonora.Musiche bellissime, di vario genere, che può spaziare dalla musica orchestrale al pop all'elettronica.D'importazione giapponese, infatti il libretto allegato è scritto in lingua nipponica, che purtroppo non conosco.Molto belle le illustrazioni, che richiamano le rovine della città all'interno del gioco.Più di tre ore di ascolto altamente consigliate agli amanti del videogioco.
