CHARLENE Handmade Bone Comb Anti-Static Chemical Heat Resistant Smooth Comb-out (#2468 Large Feathering Rake)

I’ve purchased several similar combs and this is the first one properly sanded - doesn’t look and feel like an impatient cave man made it. This comb has been sanded to the width and weight of a normal wide tooth detangling comb. It is large and functions as close to finger detangling as I have found. Helps distribute conditioner with minimal hair loss - only the hair that would have shed anyway comes out. No seams to damage strands. Better than Hercules. The tips are pointy, but not so sharp that it was uncomfortable on my scalp. Nice to finally find a good resin/bone-like rake comb.

My hair is thick, long and difficult to comb. This comb works better than my others because the teeth are longer and the spacing is further apart. Just right for me. It doesn't snag at all. It's easy to hold. It is a sturdy comb, which is a must for me, because my hair often breaks the teeth out of combs. Definitely my favorite comb.

I had a similar comb made by Peter Hanz so you know it was an old but a goody. I had it for 30 years ! This comb is very similar and sturdy. It is just what I was looking for as a replacement. I love it. Hope it lasts another 30 years...but at least I know where to get another !

Fake bone comb.. In the description it admits these are made of resin.. Not bone. What kind of "natural resin" are these combs made of?.. Update: increased the stars because this comb is sturdy, & biggest comb i can find so far. Better than hercules comb. But still if it were a true bone comb I would give 5 stars.

I love the weight of the comb and the finest of the tail which helps makes my parts clean. I also like the finest of the teeth it makes my styles really smooth when I’m chasing it with my flatiron
