AJ Sign World Best 1/8" Ultra-Thin Permanent Double-Sided Tape for Arts, Crafts, Photography, Scrapbooking, Tear-by-Hand, Paper Backing (1/8-inch by 164-feet)

This double sided adhesive is perfect. I am a demonstrator for a rubber stamping company and I mostly make hand stamped greeting cards. When I have fine, die-cut pieces I need to adhere to a card, glue can be very messy and I've found this double-sided adhesive to be quite excellent. You apply this product to the back of the cardstock piece that you will be cutting from. As you roll it off of the roll, you expose one side of the adhesive (just like a roll of tape) which you then stick to the back side of the cardstock. The other side of the tape has white paper backing. You roll off and cut whatever size you want to place on the back of your cardstock. Then after you die cut your piece, you just remove the white backing to reveal the adhesive and stick the die-cut piece down. Easy Peasy. I've used several different brands of this type of product all of which have come as "sheets". For the sheets, you cut the sheet to fit the cardstock piece, peel back one white protective layer from the cut sheet revealing the adhesive and then attach it to the cardstock. Then after you die-cut your cardstock, to attach your die-cut piece you have to peel off a second layer of white backing from the other side, which creates an additional step. The sheets have areas at the edge of them that help you get the backing off but when dealing with left over pieces of the sheet that aren't near an edge it can be difficult to get the backing peeled up. The two layers of backing on the sheets are very thin and that makes it hard to remove it and sometimes the adhesive wants to come up with the backing. So besides the additional step of peeling off an additional layer of backing, it can sometimes be frustrating getting the backing off properly. Additionally, sometimes the adhesive itself that the sheets use is not always the best quality. It can be stringy or thin and peel up easily when removing the backing or not be very strong, giving a weak hold. Sometimes I've found it doesn't cut well or at all around fine details (so you end up with adhesive where you don't want it like in small fine holes) and then it can end up just as or even more messy than if you'd just used glue. I have found that the 2 inch size of this product in tape form is so much easier to work with than the sheets, especially for smaller die cuts, and it seems to be the perfect size universally for what I need it for. But it does come in many different widths (including larger widths such as 3" and 5") and I do have occasions for smaller widths so I will probably order another roll that is 1" wide which is $7.99. I have never had trouble getting the backing off of this product and the adhesive is perfect, just the right thickness and consistency and it bonds firmly and completely. The quality of the adhesive itself is excellent for my purposes. Adhesive quality matters and I have been very satisfied with the quality of the adhesive this product uses. And you get a lot! It will last you a while and you will waste less of it. I ordered it in January of 2020 and I still have a lot left. That is something I really appreciate about this product because I'm tired of companies that price gouge crafters. When possible, I avoid buying any products from companies who take advantage of crafters. This product is also neater to use and store as you don't have all the little left over pieces in different sizes to deal with like you do with the sheets. Virtually none of it goes to waste. It is easy and convenient to use. It was also reasonably priced at $12.99. Because of it's price, convenience, quality and functionality, I highly recommend this product and I will purchase it again. And to be clear, this is my own personal opinion which I was not asked for or offered anything for giving. I just like giving credit where credit is due and sharing what I think are good finds with other crafters!

I purchased the 2” double sided tape based on a YouTubers use/recommendation & I’m not disappointed. I’ve used it to adhere 12x12 sheets of cardstock together as well as using it with heavy craft board. Adheres excellent and takes scoring wonderfully helping to prevent cracking the in cardstock when folding. I’ll definitely be ordering more in different sizes. Easy to use & great value for the size, amount, quality, and quantity of the tape.

This tape is extremely sticky and will hold your leather working fabric together until you get it sold. Keep in mind tape and glue is not a fix it is just a tool to be used when needed. It is very well made and has plenty of tackiness to hold your product together. I strongly recommend this and I strongly recommend the seller.

I had to reframe a large picture for my son and his wife, I watched a few UTube vids to see what I needed to get. I am pretty crafty so I knew I could do it to satisfaction. I ordered this tape and some paper backing for the picture. I scraped all the old paper and tape that was left on the frame and laid this new tape down along the edges. You have to be pretty careful when laying this tape down because it sticks almost immediately! I got it laid down pretty straight and then started on my paper, once again i had to be very carful not to let the paper touch until it was where I wanted to put it because it stuck at the slightest touch. I got the paper where I wanted by having my son grab one end and I was on the other, the picture was large and I wanted the paper tight and straight without ripples. I am confident this tape will hold the paper to the picture backing for a long time to come!! It is great tape and I will be using it for more projects where I need this type of thing, this is great tape.

Worked good, but the whole roll is a little too flexible. When using it bothers inside cardboard slips out and you lose some of the tape. Great adhesive. Just be careful when handling the roll.

This is the greatest thing since sliced bread. It works well on everything. Easy to use, strong, ,thin. My car, my floor..they don’t say it’s for outdoor use but my trunk handle is going strong 3 years later.

This tape really worked for my application. I used it to improve the fit of my ZFold 5 protective case. It is just the right size and sticks great. If you have a Samsung fold or other type of folding phone this tape will really help when the case adhesive does not work.

This tape has great bonding. It can be used on most surfaces and will not loosen. I highly recommend this for many uses, especially for crafting.

I go this today just now and I spent over a half-hour trying to peel off the backing. It was impossible. I have full nails and just couldn't peel it back. The adhesive that was present was also very weak. Do yourselves a favour folks and buy Scotch Tape doubled-sided tape. Much stronger, although you'll have to use scissors to cut it to 1/8" size. And much cheaper too! DO NOT BUY THIS!
