Best Metallic Gold Color
I wanted to add a brightness and depth to my toned canvases and thought I would try this gesso...two birds with one stone..It brushes on smoothly with just the right consistency. It is a true warm gold and the closest thing to metal leaf I have found. It adds a subtle glow beneath transparent colors and slight gaps in the paint. It's not glitzy as a toner but could be easily used used exposed in a painting.It came intact, no leaking and spreads so well I think the jar will last a long time.....Shake it really well before opening.

Great Quality!
This is of such high quality and beautiful gold effect! So glad I bought it! It will last me forever, it comes with a lot! Worth the $$! Make sure to wipe off the lip of the tub after every use or it will solidify and make it death defying to screw the top off after it dries! Just a tip from someone knows!

Good product, Poor Packaging
The gesso leaked into the bag making a mess. Fortunately the shipper did use a plastic bag that contained the leakage.I love the gesso!

Gold leaf
This is a great product and is priced right. I was a little skeptical at first, but it goes on easy and leaves a great finish. It almost looks as if what I painted was gilded.

Loved this paint. Unfortunately after my first use my cat knocked the container on the floor and the cap broke off 😢

New Favorite Gold Gesso
I've always found gold gessos too brassy, but this one is a lovely golden color. It goes on thin, but layers beautifully, lending itself to mixed media projects, and offering versatility. I've had my small pot of it for a month, and already feel about ready to re order.

Nice color
Very good coverage with one coat but would recommend 2 coats. Much better quality product than the craftersworkshop, tcw shimmering gold gesso.
