Cute illustrations and rhyme. I thought this was going to go deeper into the story of the Christmas tree gifted to the US from Norway, but it wasn't even mentioned. Fine for a fun Christmas book, but I wouldn't recommend for a history read.

I thought the pictures and story were cute and perfect for the holidays, but my kids were not very impressed. They tho7ght the story was too short.

At first I was a bit disappointed because the story seemed short and kind of sad but once you read the not about the tradition behind it, it makes so much sense! We love to read it most nights now, especially leading up to Christmas
