A very pretty pen, but mine doesn’t hold ink well and the flow is very short. It could just be the ink I’m using, but the ink works great with all of my other dip pens.I feel like if the tip had a bit of an edge rather than a simple sharp point, it would come along better.Still a nice pen, but I don’t see myself using it too much outside of showing it to friends.

I have to say I was surprised just how much I enjoyed this pen. I went on a writing spree with different inks and just greatly enjoyed it. This makes a great art pen as well as a writing pen, and the different shades of ink as it runs low are very beautiful. I highly recommend avoiding India ink as it dries very quickly and will gunk up the pen potentially.5/5 would ruin a shirt with ink blotches again.

Took a little time to get the learning curve on how to handle and use this pen. I now have a small cap that I use that lets the ink sit out a little while, to thicken a little before use. I also do not overload the pen so i can get clean lines and dont have to move my hand as fast to control flow.

I loke this, its beautiful, mine arrived on time. I am still trying to understand how to use it, and it seems okay so far. The one problem I have encountered is that the ink sometimes dries too fast in the grooves, and I have to clean and refresh them. I might be using the wrong in( Windsor newton drawing inks), I might be holding it the wrong way, So i cannot dock it too badly. And it does work, and it beautiful. Might order another.

Love this glass dip pen. The ink flows off it so smoothly and it keeps enough ink for quite a bit so I didn't need to dip it as often as I was thinking I would need to. Beautifully made. This one did not come with any of the pen holders to set the pen on and keep it from rolling off the table and I wish it had but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. If you want one of the pen holders make sure you are looking for a set that comes with them or maybe you can buy them separately. I love it.

This is an amazing dip pen, especially for the price. It feels good in the hand and has very good ink delivery characteristics. It's a breeze to clean. Plus, the lack of any metal parts means that should you forget to clean your pen, you can use whatever solvent is needed for the dried on ink without worrying much about damaging the pen.

I LOVE this pen. It writes smoothly and a couple lines before having to re-dip, but really, I don't mind dipping the pen as needed. I expected a thick line, but it's actually not, more like a medium, which I prefer. It is a beautiful pen (I got the one with the black trimmed gold twist.) I also bought J. Herbin 1670 Caroube de Chypre ink (chocolate brown with gold shimmer), which is what I tested this pen with. Awesome. beautiful. I am so happy I bought this pen!!
