9 year old Nephew loved them!
I had bought some bulk bin Pokemon cards for my nephews but got a pair of battle decks since they have the rules and game mats. I did not know if my nephews knew how to play the game but they love to collect the cards. My younger nephew had no interest in playing the game but spent a good hour laying the cards out on the floor and talking about them. My older nephew was excited to play the game so I played against him and since I did not use a battle deck myself (I mistake I will not make the next time we play) he won easily. I will be playing another deck or two soon so that I can play against my nephew and his brother can play with the other cards without using the ones we need for the game.
