This pour-over kettle pretty much checked all the ticks, apart from the price-point.I think Rs.2100 is a tad-high considering the fact that its at the end of the day it is a kettle. But given that there are barely any goose-neck spout kettles on Amazon for a decent price, I think it is fine in that sense.I'd probably wait for a sale before buying this unless you have a dedicated coffee-setup like a Hario V60 pour-over, filters and grinders.Build quality and finishing wise it is fantastic(see the images attached).The thermometer attached to the pull-up lid is really good. And the fact that it's removeable is just amazing thought during design!Absolutely nothing wrong with the product -- just the price is a bit expensive.Had it been ~Rs.1500 or thereabouts, its a straight up 5/5, maybe even a 10/5!But at its current Rs.2100 price I can rate it a 4/5 at best, it is expensive.Anyways, overall really, really good gooseneck kettle if you're looking to complete your pour-over setup, like me.Enjoy your coffee!UPDATE:I've been using this kettle daily for 8 months and still as good as new! There are a few heat marks here and there on the base-plate, but apart from that this is still rock-solid! The thermometer is also working fine!UPDATE 2:Has been 1 year since the purchase, still going as good as day one. I do have still have those heat marks mentioned above, but nothing a good scrub can take-down if I wanted to clean it hard. Fantastic product, really top notch! I've noticed that InstaCuppa has a Black version on sale as well, I honestly don't know how I'd feel about a coated/painted version. I'd suggest going with the standard non-painted variant.

So this is a good replica of the famous Buono and the build quality is upto the mark with thicker gauge steel being used. It works on induction which is great but the thermometer is quite inaccurate.Here is the fatal flaw: The capacity might be 1.2 litres but if you boil that much water with the lid on, it will escape from the spout and spill all over the place. Boiling around half a liter of water does work though.

I am very happy with this cute kettle. Before I saw it in person, actually I was suspicious of the other positive reviews if they are related to the seller or company because there were only 6 people who rated about this kettle. Moreover the design is almost same as the big global company's which is more than twice as expensive as this. However its quality is beyond my expectation! It is beautifully made. The handle doesn't get hot when the temperature reaches maximum. The thermometer is pretty accurate so that useful and helpful.You'll see what I mean when you get it.

The kettle works perfectly, and boils water quickly. However, the thermometer attached on the top is imprecise. I compared the temperature reading with another food thermometer that I have been using and the readings don't match, the readings are off by around 10 deg Celsius. This is a major shortcoming as I intended to use this kettle for brewing tea and coffee which require different brewing temperatures. Another issue with the design is that it is hard to open the top lid when the kettle is hot without the hand touching the hot metal, this is sometimes required if one has to add more more to boil.A feedback of the free gift that I received with this product - the finishing of the metal scoop is bad and there is burr on the edges.Also, Saran (founder) please reduce your number of emails and also the length of it :)

- This is a poor quality kettle. On first day it appeared ok. After boiling one time the rust spots started to appear. First it was just 2 then started increasing to 5. This is not 304 stainless steel and it will start getting rust with time.- Their products are already way too expensive than the market standards and they don't provide even quality.- instacuppa customer care is pathetic, I called them and told and they said write an email with photos and all, but didn't answer why it is getting rust spots.- this kettle is wrongly described as weighing around 1 kg as on the page. It's only 500g in weight.
