If you are considering this type of tool, this is it.You are welcome, I have already research all of these and this is the best of the best.This is really all metal, unlike the plastic competion. I did not use the adhesive pads, so I can't speak about those.However I mounted it to a doubled rectangular scrap board cut to fit the bottom of this. Using a 1/2 and a 3/4 inch thick scrap of wood. (the depth of the underside of my cabinet dictated this.) So that it sets just under and not quit flush with the bottom of the cabinet, out of site, but very accessible.)Then I slid this up and under, the corner of the caninet (made a easy to reach location in the corner).Then with this already mounted to the board, just ran a few screws up through the scrap boards into the bottom of the kitchen cabinet. Very easy to install and VERY Secure!This tool did pass the magnet test, so I would say this is a nice thick Stainless construction as advertised!And by the way the tool works fantastic! Really great for my arthritic hands!Very easy to open everything, but boxes and child proof pill bottles.

This has worked exactly as I'd hoped. I have trouble opening jars without my wrists hurting, and this was my answer. It had easy to follow instructions to install it. It is sturdy, and you can't even see it under my cabinet. Impressed with its grip strength. Great value for the money!

I highly recommend this product. It is fairly easy to install considering it has to be screwed into the bottom of a cabinet. It works great! My wife has issues opening lids due to a wrist injury and she uses it all the time to open them. It should last a life time.

This is a great jar opener. I love the fact that it's completely out of sight and out of the way when mounted. It isn't a gadget you'll lose in a junk drawer and forget about. I also like that the threading/edging on the sides of the opener only grip the jar lid in one direction, so you can only twist your jar in the correct direction to open it. It is very easy to use and it takes all the pressure off your wrist when popping the lid. All you have to do is lift the jar to the opener and hold until you feel it grip the sides of the lid. Then rotate the jar. The lid pops off easily.The only issue I had with the opener had to do with mounting it. The adhesive disks that come with it aren't very thick and they only give you three disks. There are bumps under the surface of the opener that require a thicker disk to keep it mounted. I solved this by swapping the disks out for strips of Gorilla Tough and Clear Double-Sided Mounting Tape. I doubled the thickness of the strips by layering two strips high before mounting. The Gorilla tape holds the jar opener perfectly, so I don't anticipate needing the mounting screws that are also included in the kit. I didn't use the screws because the position of the opener under my cabinet made the screw-mounting option too awkward for me.

The arthritis in my hands is creating difficulty to open jars. This was a great find. I do wish it had a handle off the end however, due to not having a way to install it under a cabinet. I am having success using it by placing the jar between my feet as I’m seated in a chair, and twisting the opener with my hands. Have been able to open everything again!

This is easy to install, hides under a cabinet for me, and is super easy to use. I'm thrilled that I don't have to sift through mountains of kitchen gadgets to find a jar opener. I simply slide the jar into this device under my cabinet, twist, and presto! It's open!Buy this buy this buy this buy this.....

I am a very senior lady with weak arms. I am amazed each time I use it how easy it works. My son screwed it in under a kitchen cabinet where it's easy to access. Very please and thankful to have chosen it.

This is so handy and is especially good for anyone with arthritis. It opens any size jar, I love it.

There is the odd jar that just gets stuck after being in the fridge that 2 people can't even open and this thing works perfect.You have to be careful and keep it pushed in or it'll scrape the jar lid but when it does hold it makes opening anything a dream!.

The media could not be loaded.  Works perfectly! Mounts nicely. It’s discreet. It’s well made. Really glad I took a leap of faith and got this. No more struggles, no more asking for help from anyone. No more painful twists or having to pry or heat them up to expand. This is great tool to have in the kitchen / home and the build is worth it. Not just for the old or disabled - literally anyone who needs to twist a cap off.

All metal construction, looks like decent quality & works really well. I've used it several times already. Easy to install.
