Good value purchasing this in pairs instead of single
A must-have accessory to go with many of the UPS which doesn't have a standard BS 3-Pin power outlet. In my case, it is the APC by Schneider Electric Back-UPS BX - BX500CI - Uninterruptible Power Supply 500VA (AVR, 3 Outlets IEC-C13). It has 3 outlets at the back, very handy to use these adaptors to plug into the 2 of the 3 outlets, giving you the flexibility to extend the socket - Warning: total load must be within the UPS specified wattage. Leaving the last outlet with the supplied IEC cable that came with the UPS to connect to some other devices e.g. the monitor directly.

Work well for their purpose
If you are working at home and have upgraded your home office with some UPS's then you will need something like these to convert the UPS socket connection to one for your laptop. They do the job as described.
