The handle is at the other end don't use the axe to hold it
Another reviewer made reference to the sharpness of the axe. I too found that it sliced into my finger with ease when picked up at the wrong end.It feels solid and yes its small but hand sized and certainly a tool not a gimmick or toy.Its one of those things men 'buy because they might need it' perhaps but I used it to chop the ivy growing up a tree without damaging the tree which my larger axes would do. So there you are there's a reason to buy one. Or you could build a camp fire.I think its great when held the right way around.

Very good
Very handy tool for wild camping. Be warned it'd super sharp upon opening. Obviously I know but it's crazy. Please use the blade cover provided. Very good though. Highly recommend.
