Handy tool to have
This tool has been a lifesaver in getting my ceiling lights changed in my condo as my ceiling is vaulted. I love that the pole is collapsible for easy storage.

Easy to use; solid product
We had to replace several old spotlights in church. This product did the trick. Once we got the hang of it, it was simple. We stood directly under the light and telescoped the bulbs up and down safely. Great product.

Excellent produit

Works really good!
It was a perfect to change out tall ceiling light bulb. It grabbed the light bulb with suction cup tight. Great buy!

Well, it actually worked on a 22' ceiling flood light
When I bought this, I wondered whether I was buying a bulb replacer, or a bulb breaker, but I was desperate.I needed to replace a floodlight mounted in the center of an external entryway, 22 feet up. I'm 6'2", and even with my tallest stepladder (12'), I can't get to this bulb. An extension ladder wouldn't get me to the center of the ceiling where the fixture is mounted. So what the heck, let's give this Mickey Mouse suction thing a try!Obviously, I was very skeptical. Will the bulb really stay on the suction pad while the pole sections are being extended? Will the pole be too wobbly to actually seat the bulb in the socket with out knocking it off the pole? Maybe I could use it with the stepladder so the pole could be shorter. The first surprise was when the item arrived. It came in two boxes, 1) the pole, 2) the suction stuff. Right away I was impressed by the pole. Having used many extension poles of this type in photography applications before, I knew immediately that this was a much sturdier and higher quality pole than I was expecting (you know, the flimsy kind of crap you get when you buy on-line and can't actually touch and feel the item before you buy it). This was a promising sign! So I decided to go for the full Monty; Plan A would be to see if I could replace the bulb without using the stepladder.Removing the old bulb was quick and easy. Extend the pole, compress the suction device onto the bulb with mild pressure, twist the pole to unscrew, and then . . . . retract the pole extensions . . . AND THE BULB DIDN'T FALL OFF! Ok, I'm halfway home. Now to install the new bulb - compress it onto the suction cup, carefully extend the pole straight up, and gently ease it into the socket (nice and slow, like docking a space capsule to a space station), and twist it into place. Then release the suction with the pull string. Easy peasy!Wow. Worked just as advertised.
