Our width for sliding glass doors is around 170" (2 doors, opening in the center), and the rod works perfectly! I used all the rod pieces for this length.It is very sturdy, was easy to put together (I did read the instructions, there is a system you have to follow).Hardware is provided: the screws and rod holders are well designed, the end pieces are solid and screw in easily.You get many rod holders, we used only 4: two next to each other in the center where the sliders open, and then one on each end. It feels very solid, I open & close the curtains daily. The grommets slide easily over all the junctions in the rod.Note: the curtains we use are fairly sheer and light, with nice large grommets.I am buying the same rod types for the windows in the house, which are also longer window banks, so need longer - yet sturdy - rods. This system works really great!

I think these are good quality for the price and they look simple and softly contemporary. The black is matte and the end caps are heavy and look great. I ordered a bunch of rods in different sizes for different windows and they ended up looking really good. I'm giving them four stars vs. five for two reasons: One, the brackets aren't great looking. The screws are exposed and so you see two open spots below them on the wall and it looks cheap. They need some type of cover or a different design. Two, the lengths given on the listing are a little misleading. I've ordered lots of adjustable curtain rods over the years and I like to not have much of the inner/sliding tube exposed where the two tubes meet, which can look cheap and/or sag there. So I ordered the 72"-144" size for my 72" windows thinking that I really wouldn't have to expand the rods at all. Weirdly, the longest tube/rod is 55", meaning that for a 72" window I had to expand it by 17". Not sure why the listing didn't say 55"-144". This is the first time I've had this experience and I'm a little disappointed. I still like them and am keeping them, but keep this in mind if you're like me and don't want to have to see where the rods slide in/out to expand.

So nice! The length is amazing and connections for each section feel very secure and seamless. Be sure to use enough brackets to support longer spans! Paired with Ivilon Bay Window Corner Connector to address one very long wall with lots of windows and a slider door. Love the custom look and feel for a great price!
