Norpro 3811 Stainless Steel Pie Pan, 9" x 1.5", 1 EA, As Shown

Bought this to use for Key Lime Pie. It's perfect. Heavy, cleans easily, looks nice enough to serve from, heats evenly and the sides have a nice slope.

This pie tin is a game changer. It cooks the crust evenly, has a perfect edge for crimping, and is decently heavy. It seems really sturdy— no warping in the oven, nor bowing of the bottom of the pan. The lack of nonstick coating is great because I don’t have to worry about a coating scratching or flaking off— and it’s still incredibly nonstick and easy to clean! I’m about to have a lot more pies in my life now that I have a pan that is such a pleasure to use.

Beautiful product and well worth hand washing. I’ve always made a good pie crust but this pie plate and made them even consistently better. Great even baking and super easy release with a tiny bit of prelimary greasing.

This stainless steel pie pan was perfect. My pies have turned out great. It cleans easily and I am veery happy with it. At the same time I bought their 9” pie crust should. My thought was their product should of course fit. Nope the 9” pie shield is too small for their 9” pan. .

This is my go-to pie pan. It may not be decorative but there’s three things I really like about it:1. It is a 9 inch pan but the angle of the side is better than most 9 inch pie pans. It is slightly deeper, but still angled. It does not act like a deep dish, just a better normal pie plate.2. It is very sturdy so it holds up, and because its stainless steel it stays shiny and doesn’t get dull or gray. (I don’t put it in dishwasher)3. And finally it has that little flat lip on the edge which allows you to pinch the foil edging to it. You pinch the foil to that flat lip, and then bring it up and over the crust. The foil never has to touch the crust AND MOST IMPORTANTLY the foil stays put. It doesn’t fall off or shift.Well worth the money in my pie making book.

Very sturdy, great size, and easy to clean. Great to use as is mostly non stick. Quality steel not flimsy steel. I would like a little more flat with a little less angle to fit around my skillet, but that is not its intended purpose.

I bought 3 of these to use as camping plates. You can no longer find the old fashioned pie-plate shaped ones sold for camping that can work as a plate and double as a soup bowl, all in one dish. Since the old camping plates are nothing more than a 9 inch pie pan anyways, I ordered these and am very pleased! The stainless steel is thick and sturdy, not at all prone to warping and these will honestly last a lifetime. These will be banged, dropped, stepped on and left out in the rain but they feel rugged and should hold up well to all of it! Plus they are quick and easy to hand wash, which is a must while camping out.Some camps are requiring that kids bring this type of pie plate so save yourself a ton of hassle and order these! Our set is replacing some brown enameled pie pans that can chip and add a rust-flavoring to your foods. These stainless ones won't have that issue. I wish I had ordered these from the beginning (as this is our THIRD set of camping dishes and we finally have ones that will last) but I guess you learn as you go!

Easy to keep clean. I have a cat that would push the dry food off his plate while eating but this plate is the right size and solved that problem.
