instructions were not so good and it didn't help a, bit the screws were not marked to go were.

It's all pine except for the bottoms of the drawers and the back of the unit which are fiberboard. Be prepared to construct all the drawers, it takes well over an hour to assemble the whole unit. The fit and finish are OK and the drawer slides are PLASTIC, not metal. This does NOT affect the performance of the unit however since the gaps on the sides of the drawers can be large (tolerance is loose) then you can see the ugly white/translucent plastic peeking through. Fortunately I use it in a studio to hold small tools so don't care too much. The finish is not quite as nice as the picture, it has a more orange/yellow cheap stain but it's close. Overall it's a decent unit but it is not a display piece by any means.

I am a fan of Adeptus. It produces solid pine furniture at particle board prices. The description of this item, however, is false and misleading. The drawer glides are not metal, they are plastic. The handles are metal, not the drawer glides. Even so, I am satisfied with this purchase. The cabinet looks good and will serve us well, I'm sure. It did take several hours to put it together, though, it does have 12 drawers!

I use the 2 I purchased to organize tools and shipping supplies for my jewelry business. They look really nice and keep everything in order.

As others have stated, the drawer guides are plastic, and do not prevent the drawers from being pulled all the way out accidentally. The set takes several hours to put together. It would be nice if the drawers had guide holes for the screws, it would have saved lots of frustration. I recommend using wood glue in addition to the provided screws, as the pine wood is very soft and easy to strip. My set had one handle missing, and one of the drawer sides was too warped to be usable. The manual said to go to adeptus's website to request replacement parts, but their site does not acknowledge that this model exists, so I am not sure what to do.

This one was much better than the other Adeptus product, my only complaint was the really cheap nails to hammer in the back wood board. Also this takes a serious amount of time to put together.

I think I was sent a unit that had been returned by someone else...the parts bag had been ripped open and taped shut, several of the nails and screws were bent prior to starting assembly, and we were short several screws. I was able to scrounge what I needed to finish from my husbands hardware stash, but it slowed us down considerably. Several of the wood pieces were also warped. But we were able to force them into shape during construction. Don't have time to return the unit and wait for a new one so I am just making do.

Great, except for the plastic guides, exactly as described, quality materials and took me only 4 hours to assemble. Thank you Adeptus!
