It really works!!
I was so pleased that it worked for me. I went on a very long road trip and I usually have to have several restroom stops, but I never had the sudden urge. It was amazing.

They do what they said to do.
These Oxytrol for Women Overactive Bladder patches take a few days to work. But they are helpful once they get through your system. It’s important to take them off after four days otherwise they can put rashes on your skin. This is the third time I bought these and now I can't find a place to put on my skin that doesn't make me itch. I don't put them on the same place as the last time. You might want to buy a small pack to make sure that they agree with your skin.

BAD BAD BAD
I have been using Oxytrol patches for years. They have always been a bit messy when the patch is removed because it leaves a sticky residue some worse than others and some cause an itch worse than others. Never have figured out why. This particular box was/is horrible. Still have one left and am weary of using it. Every single one (7) I used from this box caused a REALLY bad itch and burning sensation from the onset. The worse part was when they got wet in the shower. The burning increased and was VERY bad, so much so I removed each one. I tried to save them for future use to see if I reacted the same way but they usually got stuck to something else and ended up in the garbage. This is very sad. A needed usable product that wasnt great but served the purpose GONE BAD BAD BAD. BTW, the adhesive was reallt strong certainly different so that may be what I was reacting to. I do hope they return to a more gentle adhesive. Too much money to for patches that can only be used less than a day.

A Better Choice (For Me) Than Poise Pads~
Because I generally do not like using anything with medication in it [I prefer herbal remedies], initially I was very hesitant to try this 'new kid on the block' solution for my OAB complaints. But, there is no denying the fact that this disease-state has truly limited my ability to enjoy my retirement years more fully. Due to the fact it was recently approved for OTC status, I decided to give it a trial run to see if it would enable me to more confidently leave home for my shopping errands, etc. Yes, it works pretty well. For me personally, I am most impressed with the 'Oxytrol Patch' medication route. Since it is applied transdermally [through the skin], none of my organ systems are affected [long-term damages/side effects]. Also my peace-of-mind and confidence, which has been restored since I first began using the 'Patch', is profound. I feel much more in control--without having to map out every restroom in my route--when I'm out and about on my shopping trips and errands. I sleep much more soundly at night now, thanks to the 'Patch'; only getting up once at night now, instead of 4-5 times per night. The 'Patch' has made a world of difference in my ability to get a good night's sleep. Overall, I would say that I'm very impressed with this OTC product, which has a proven track record of nearly 30 years of 'GRAS' use for this condition. Recently, I began a 'Subscribe & Save' subscription for this item here @Amazon. If I have use the 'Patch', I want to get the best possible price that I can for it, and Amazon has it. 'Nuff said. ****Addendum: For those of you who have been recently diagnosed with OAB symptoms, you may want to also become more informed as to what your many triggers are, i.e., food choices that do irritate the bladder system. I'm including the link which helps to explain things in more detail. So, here goes: [...] Unfortunately, this illness will have to become a new education for you on how to manage what you can eat and what foods will have to be eliminated. Although this link discusses patients struggling with interstitial cystitis or painful bladder syndrome (IC/PBS), I did find the similarities to OAB are so close that I use this chart almost exclusively to determine what I must omit to be safe from any trouble. But, hey, this disease-state sure beats the pants off of having a life-threatening disease like say, um, 'cancer'. If you get a lemon, make lemonade! Blessings, J.J.

Do you like burning?
Full Disclaimer. Im a mom of 3, I've had bladder surgery but still leak occasionally.I got these to go to Disney.I applied a patch on day 1. It tingled, in a not so nice way, but you know you don't want to tinkle while walking so you kind of just like ignore the tingling?Well the tingling turned into burning - whatever I managed to get through an entire day of burning ... Because it worked.. I might have been focussed on my thigh burning off, but I didn't leak so yay?!You're supposed to leave these on for 4 days and 4 nights, so I woke up and my patch was no longer on my hip, it was stuck to my stomach. It obviously did not stick through sleep.I still had to peel it off of me.I opted to not apply a new patch the next day and to just suffer.I'll probably give them another go at some point, I have 3 patches. But the burn is real.

Highly recommend
These patches are a GODSEND!! I was recently diagnosed with PFD. I was constantly in the bathroom with pressure and the urge to pee. I was afraid to leave the house. After a couple of days of using these patches, I am feeling so much better. I’m not even through the first box and I’ve already ordered a second one. Highly recommended!!

Amazing results so far.
Bought this small box to try the product; used the first patch last night ith fantastic results. I have a more severe conditon called "overflow", which is more common in women older than I am. I usually am up 3 times a night, with the "rush" to get to the bathroom - despite my Tena products. Now, no rush to get there and much better so far today.Suggestions: The patch is pretty far down into the packaging, so I cut it open just below the dotted line - easy from there. Also, while I have not removed the patch yet, when I saw the comments about the sticky residue, one product immediately came to mind - one I use in the kitchen all the time -- Goo-Gone!. Now, don't laugh ladies, mine is lemon scented in a spray bottle and does not irritate the skin on my hands when I use it. In fact, it leaves my hands soft even after I wash it off. If I encounter the residue thing from the first patch, I will grab my handy, dandy bottle of Goo-Gone and let you know.If trial box works as well with manageable "side effects", I will definitely order the biggest box I can get. Then I will call my urologist's office and let them know. My only other option was surgery, and even though it is a simple procedure and only an overnight stay in the hospital, it is not something I want to do yet. I will update this review later. Let me know if the Goo-Gone works for you . . .UPDATE: 3/6/14 minimal sticky residue. Goo gone did the trick and I was mistaken - it's orange scented, mild on my skin and very pleasant. No side effects to date. Ordered more patches.

Used to be a good product
I hope the manufacturer reads the reviews. These used to work pretty well for me but the last two boxes I bought were very different in quality than the previous lots. The patches don't stay on and one lot of the product caused serious irritation and redness. I have been using this product for over 4 years, so it was very obvious to me that the product formula/ ingredient quality and patch material/ adhesive have changed. I also work in the pharma industry so yeah, manufacturer's cost savings is definitely showing. HOWEVER, the drug itself is effective - unfortunately there are no equivalent products on the market. So, I still purchase these and because the pads fall off after a day or two, I use them sparingly for long travel/ business meeting days.
