Huge Naruto anime and manga fan here and I am absolutely in love with this cosplay sword. Is it the best sword I've ever seen? No. Does it have some flaws? Yes, for sure. However, we should keep in mind that this sword is for cosplaying and not for actual sword play. It's also beautiful for display. A unique piece that I'm happy to have.

This is an interesting combination of wood and metal. It's something that you couldn't create on your own for this price.The wood handle and scabbard are reasonably well made--again, considering the price ($29 at this writing). The metal blade is heavy, although not sharpened (but probably could be). The tip is fairly sharp though. I can't tell if the blade is full tang but I'd guess that it's not.I kind of like that it's not sharpened. My katanas are so sharp that I feel like I have to be super careful when I get them out, and hide them otherwise. But they are beautiful and I love them.This is a good, affordable addition to my collection...

This blade looks great. I did not have any blemish in the one I received. At first it was real hard to remove. After some time it got easier to remove blade. The only issue is there is some kind wax inside the holder which keeps going the the blade every time it’s piled out. I requested this item because I love to collect different swords and katanas plus I like ones you see in animes. When I received the sword I was happy with the size of it and that it wasn't too heavy since it's sheath is made from appears to be MDF . I was disappointed to see the quality of the sword when I pulled it out though. The blade was covered with some type of gunky residue and what appears to be MDF shavings. I cleaned the blade before returning it to it's sheath and I was greeted with this stuff when I removed it again. The blade is a decent and good weight but do not expect a sharpened one. It doesn't appear to be a full tang either.Overall this piece will work to wear for a cosplay event or costume but it does have some quality issues.
