Secrets of a Fortnite Fan (Independent & Unofficial): Book 1 Paperback – Import, 18 February 2021

What a gem this book is! My Fortnite-mad 7 year old was so excited when I gave him this book. Tonight he read the first 20 pages to me and it was lovely, he normally doesn't take much interest in reading books which is a shame (we do try! He prefers me reading to him) but he read this really well, it says suitable for age 10 but I think if younger kids are playing Fortnite (which let's face it a lot do!) then this is still suitable for age 7+. I'm so happy I found this book, it's an easy read, the illustrations are on most pages and are funny and cute and the text isn't all the same either and a good easy-to-read size. The language is current and young too so more kids language which my son liked too. It's a good length book too for the price. Fabulous book!

My son really enjoyed reading this book. He is a big fortnite fan! He enjoy reading about the Tyler and his friends and how they play the game.

I bought this for an 8 year old Fortnite obsessed fan at xmas. He is a strong reader (just doesn’t enjoy it). I’m hoping changing the content away from the school books to something a little more relevant and exciting for him would work.This is his favourite book and I regularly see him reading it on his own. Hopefully this will lead to bigger things and we’ll worth the money spent to get him engaged in reading again.

Bought for our 10yr old grandson, he is a big fortnite fan himself! He read the book quickly, it seemed to keep him interested and he says he learned “stuff” from it and picked up a couple of tips. He’s not normally a reader, tends to start but not finish a book, but this kept his attention very well and he read it to the end.

Thought I’d get this to encourage my 10 yr old to read a bit more independently , he wizzed through it so it must have been good!
