Lightweight and great optics
I have no idea what you can get for binoculars in the thousand dollar class, but these binocular cost half of that, are superb and will meet my needs for my lifetime. They get the red, blue , yellow and other colors on birds at long distances. The reddish head on a turkey vulture at 300 yards quite easy to discern.

The focus wheel is of poor quality.
The focus wheel is of poor quality. It is loose or has some play in it, even though it's still in its warranty period. Will be returning it.

this is low end for zeiss, but these binoculars are anything but low end.
I have some Zeiss 10x42s that are great but I wanted something light and compact for the trail, and boy oh boy did I find them.They are light and compact but I am mostly blown away by the visuals. Close up, far away, these are great.

Bad for your health
On the outer packaging they have a clear statement that they used chemical materials for this product which can be very harmful for your health…. Why would I ever use this kind of product and keeping in front of my eyes?
