humangear GoToob Civilized Squeezable Travel Tube (Pack of 3)

These containers are awesome BUT be careful what you put in them. I have owned these in various sizes over the past 2 years (I even great rave reviews on this product in another size/configuration) and they have never broken or deformed, but recently I had an incident I wanted to report. Again, I love these but it depends what you put into them that will make the difference.I have always used these containers for hair product, shampoo, creams, lotions, sunscreens, etc (and they have never leaked). But recently I went to check on one of my 1.25 oz. squeezable GoToobs and the container itself had blown up to twice its size (like a blowfish!!); and when I unscrewed the flip lid, the lip on the silicone Toob was torn and part of it was stuck inside of the cap. Not sure what happened, but I guess the liquid I had in there either expanded over time causing the container to expand as well (trust me, for a second I was so perplexed as I was staring at the container and comparing it to the others of the same size (1.25 oz) and thought what I was looking at was an entirely larger size like 3oz, because it doubled in size!!).In fairness, I had silicone lubricant in there stored for weeks; so maybe the silicone lubricant reacted with the silicone material of the GoToob? Not sure, but don't keep sex lubricants inside. Anything else I suppose; from my experience, has been ok. No issues. :)

Minimalistic travel made easy. These little tubes are awesome! Humangear has been around a long time, making great outdoor products, I trusted this brand over the cheap imposters that are being offered. These seal water tight, are easy to fill and the product dispenses through an orifice that has more control than any lotion or shampoo type product I have ever used. In fact, I keep one filled with lotion and prefer to use it over the bottle it came in.

Great quality in this simple product. Use it for travel mainly, but I also use it at home. Loading product is easy because of the wide aperture on top. Don't let the small size fool you, this bottles can hold a weeks worth of travel.

Worked great for my son's camp suds and sunscreen for Philmont Scout Ranch. His words are, "They're awesome!" Nothing leaked throughout the course of his 14 days of travel and trekking.

These things are great if you travel often. They are so much better than the regular ones where you can never get 1/2 of the product out of the container! I have a bunch and have labeled each and keep them ready to go for my frequent business travel. The only thing is that I wish the lid wasn't quite so big, but that's not a deal breaker.

Great for travel as well as every day use. I do not like bulky "original" bottles of shampoo and body wash in my shower. Love these in their place. Compact, neat and tidy.

I travel for a living. These are the best solution I've ever come across for packing fluid toiletries.

Overall I love it, aesthetically lovely and perfectly functional. The only problem is the cap. It's rather brittle. If you have a filled GoToob falling cap-side down on to a hard floor from waist level, there is a pretty high chance that the cap will crack. At least that's what happened to my 2 out of 3 GoToob.

So apparently the folks at humangear (makers of gootoob) have come up with a new version called gotoob+ and part of the update was to discontinue the smallest size (this one) so it was nice to get my hand on a 3pack of those while they're still around and at a reasonable price. I like this size because it's compact (great for refilling hand cream or moisturizer for on the go use) and you are going to be refilling frequently so you are getting fresh product constantly (some reviews have stated that leaving a product in there for too long can break down the tube itself . A couple downsides though: 1) I wish the tubes were completely, light blocking, opaque. These tubes are frosted and still let some light in, which can affect the stability of the active ingredients of the product inside. 2) opening from which the product is dispensed has a flimsy, tissue like barrier, and I am not sure how durable that is. 3) although I haven't experienced this yet, but some reviews have suggested that the tubes are actually permeable to air, so I would prefer packaging that is 100% air tight, but I couldn't find any alternatives so I had to settle for the gotoob.

For smaller type smell goods. Your face washes, fancy face lotions, whatever. And it don’t look like your girlfriend let you hold her travel bottles
