Jockey Ladies' Skimmies Slip Short Smooth Lightweight Mid-Length, 2 Pack

I'm on my 4th pair of these slip shorts. Firstly, out of all the solutions I've seen for reducing thigh rub, they are the best. The bands always roll up or never sit in the right place and biking shorts are too thick and make you feel like you're wearing 2 layers. These slip right on, provide clean lines so your underwear lines don't show even in a tighter dress, prevent thigh rub and are comfortable and breathable. Even on the hottest day, I don't feel like I'm wearing an extra layer. The main reason they don't get 5 stars is that they create static cling like nobody's business with cotton dresses. And heaven forbid it's a shorter knee-length dress then it rides right up to the point of exposing the short as I walk. So I'm constantly pulling my dress down or if my dress has pockets, tenting out the dress with my hands in my pockets. For my non-cotton dresses, it's fine. Despite this, I still love them as the positives outweigh the negatives. But something to consider if you plan on walking around a lot in a cotton dress.

I was looking for a more casual and comfortable alternative to Spanx (which I only wear on special occasions).Pros: Lightweight, comfortable, breathable, wearable in hot weather, will prevent chaffing, good coverage under a skirt or sundress.Cons: Thin (don't even think about wearing these as shorts), they cling to some materials (even with static guard),they do not firm you up at all.I wasn't looking for a full support garment, but these are really just underwear in shorts form. I'm keeping them because I do wear them occasionally, but not as much as I would have like because of the clinging to certain casual dresses.

I purchased these in the summer to prevent the awful chub rub while wearing a skirt or dress on a hot day. I didn’t need them to smooth or hold anything in so I sized up thinking they would be extra comfortable. I wish I hadn’t sized up because these things do run true to size and would of been perfectly comfortable in my normal size. Because I sized up they do slip down sometimes. I would say they are very true to size order your normal size. I have worn and washed and they look and feel brand new , no runs no pilling. I accidentally dried them a couple times and no dryer damage was done but I will be hang drying in the future for longevity because they are great for those of us women who have thicker thighs and hate the chub rub.

I wear these under my pencil dresses to prevent chaffing and avoid a panty line. Size small fit me at 5'1" and 115 pounds. They end a few inches above my knee, but since they are stretchy, you can adjust that. These are not thick or a compression product like Spanx; however, they do lend some smoothing and support to your tush. I appreciated the absorbent/breathable panel inserted through the inside of the thigh area.So far, I haven't been able to see these through even thin, form-fitting dresses. So, essentially invisible.I wash these in a laundry bag with the rest of my laundry -- hot water -- and then air dry. So far, so good. No unraveling or fading yet.I would like it if the waistband was a tad higher and if the product was better at avoiding static cling/skirts riding up.

I should have purchased a size smaller. I am 5' 8 and about 195. I purchased an XL based on the size guide. They fit and I wear them but I would like a little more tummy support. The material is very nice, high quality. The size I got does not offer any support just keeps my legs from rubbing together when wearing a dress. I might try the large to see if it offers better support for my tummy and hips.

I bought these to wear on vacation under cool dresses and skirts in an extremely hot and humid climate.I should have brought more of these with me on vacation!!! They did the trick. Just long enough to stop the chafing. Loose enough not to leave any lines anywhere. They are not compression. Who wants compression when it's over 100 degrees outside!??! You can wash by hand (or machine in a delicates bag) and hang to dry - they dry overnight.They are stretchy, long legged panties that don't bag out...breathable and thin, soft and comfortable. I'm going to buy more for sure!I'm 5'7" 179 lbs - pear shape (all hips and legs) I purchases size XL. They are not tight on my legs.

I absolutely love these as I wear sundresses all summer long, and walking long distances in a long dress in the heat can get uncomfortable: I get chub rub sometimes! These never roll, make me sweat, or give me a muffin top: just make sure to get a big enough size. If any doubt, size up. I'm a 10-12 in dresses but can go to a 14 in pants (thanks, hips and thighs!) so I got the XL and I'm extremely happy. These aren't shapewear, they won't suck you in and just don't have that structure. They are soft, lightweight but strong, they will smooth out your silhouette a bit and let your dress flow and, yes, skim right over them. No rub. No static. No sweat. Perfect.

If you go by the size chart and actually measure yourself, you won't have a roll down problem. Trust me. I'm a size large and the waist can go higher, if I wanted. The added bonus is that they have a diamond area between the legs that doesn't make you sweat, plus they have a bit of padding on both thighs. Been looking for something like this for years! Yup, they ARE a bit pricey, but well worth it!

Have been wearing skimmies with my skirts for years now. They are the most comfortable, light as air slip short I've found that make summer skirt wearing even possible and this 2 pack is a great deal. These are not compression shorts, you will barely feel you are wearing them. They smooth you out in all the right places the same way a traditional slip works.

Love these. Bought another set!I used them under my summer dresses that were a little too see through for me. No worrying about anything showing if wind blew or moving around as they look like shorts but are so lightweight.Comfortable enough on a vacation in Florida to not sweat like crazy. Super comfortable.

I really like the idea of this product however I was disappointed that every dress I tried them under stuck to them because of static.
